I love Sigma metas!
I love long range tanks being meta. It’s just so much fun getting spammed out by his 22m primary fire. He doesn’t even have to press W to make space. It’s really good design.
A stun, a shield and long range poke! The perfect combination for aids. The only thing he is missing is AOE healing honestly. Add that to his kit to make him a true cancerous hero.
If this isn’t hotfixed within 1-2 weeks, it will be the death of OW.

Dive him. Tanks are heavily reliant on abilities. Have a Sombra EMP him. Oh and beams are your friend.
Your biggest mistake was assuming that Sigma wasn’t secretly meta at every point since his launch date.
Dive tanks suck, other than Winston and ball.
I enjoy playing Sigma. I enjoy playing against Sigma. Better than the umpteenth Zarya meta.

Disregarding how good D.va may or may not be, Sigma counters her anyways. D.va should be a low priority pick when the enemy has a Sigma.

Whereas to OP: Sigma is just a frail shell of his former self, he’s really no issue on his own anymore. Stop exaggerating.
Just think, Orisa and Rein got nerfed because of this character working well with them, and he’s STILL meta, while they’re both dragging the bottom of the tank roster. Thanks, Sigma!

You just named two out of the three dive tanks.
This is the beauty of being able to play most of tanks and enjoying all their playstyles. You’ll never go hungry. We’re really coming full circle here where tipping Brig and Bap invalidates some dive tank play and the complaints never end. I’ll be beaming down Sigma regardless with Zarya down in plat. We almost seemed to have harmony for a while though it smelled like.
There’s a difference between a hero being OP and a hero being frustrating to fight. One is a balancing issue and one is a subjective issue. Obviously I’m biased, but I don’t think he’s “cancerous” compared to heroes like Mei and Brigitte and maybe even Moira.
Pretty wierd that after the shield nerfs; he was disregarded as paper thin shield with increased kinectic grasp CD actually bad… no more hybrid tank hes off-tank
Simple support healing nerfs; and now hes somehow gaining traction as a MAIN tank… OW Balance is super-delicate and intricate
If you’re struggling to take space against a sigma pressing m1 then I suggest using the A and D keys on your keyboard given they are easy ah to avoid
That’s the joke. 
He’s ruined tank balance. I’d argue he screwed up the game worse than Brig ever did.
A character with a main tank shield and off tank offensive potential was a massive mistake, it led to a double shield meta that most players hated, followed by a gutting of shield tanks and any characters with tanking abilities in other classes (Mei, Brig, etc).
The fact that this character is still strong after all the other damage he’s done is infuriating. His shield should have been removed and he should have been properly rebalanced as an off tank months ago
