Doomfist is so overpowered. As a healer you can’t do much againist him. It’s hard to track him as he jumps and flies into the sky. I would like for him to be nerfed a lot because I physically can not breathe when I die from him. It hurts. Please Overwatch please take this man and make him a little less powerful! Hes only a DPS not a tank! And the worst part is that the players that play him are toxic and target healers. Please. Overwatch.

Yes but in reality it is pretty annoying and I do think he is a bit overpowered. It’s annoying when you’re a healer and you get targetted by this guy jumping in the air.

Doomfist is annoying if dont cc him, but as a healer you can escape with moira, mercy, or sleep dart when he slams/uppercuts. Aka, its not like widow where you as a healer just hide and hope to not get killed

I agree, but it is super hard to sleep dart him when he’s flying in the air with me! He brings you up into space and it’s so hard to sleep him.

Imagine you’re sleeping a slightly bigger Zarya. Easy. His hitbox is literally the size of some tanks and has almost half the health

It doesn’t feel like it to be honest. A Zarya doesn’t move a lot and flies in the air. I feel like his abilities are OP.

Or, if you get lucky with frog you can run/speedboost/wallride away. you could also try and boop him, but idk if that’ll do a lot
That is exactly what I have been doing for the past month.
As a Support, your options against Doom are pretty limited. You will mainly have to rely on your DPS to counterpick him. But if they don’t, your best bets are to go either Brig or Lucio. Brig can stun him (Shield Bashing his punch will knock you both on the ground), and you can use Whip Shot to knock him away. With Lucio, you can either avoid him or boop him away.

I tend to use Lucio when there is a doomfist on the other team but it does suck for the other healers especially when there is no communication there.

Thats a workshop code to 1v1 any hero. Just press interact+left mouse button until doomfist shows up, then try sleeping him as he slams, etc.
When doomfist slams, you are lifted upward a tad, so aim sleep dart a bit downward
If doomfist gets the sneak up on ana, likely she might die, unless she gets help from zarya or brig. That code is helpful to know where to sleep him.

Doom is not OP he is loud, 250 hp, and the size of a tank. If you die to a melee ranged hero that has all these prerequisites that is entirely your fault. Whether it maybe changing your positioning so you can have better support from your team when he engages or out right switching to a different hero like Moira, you can always do something better.

As a support you absolutely can counter pick doomfist. Literally don’t play zen and sometimes bap depending on how good the doom is. The character is in a bad spot rn and is widely considered by higher tier players to be pretty Garbo. Those are the same players who are able to move their mouse after hearing a doomfist. Dooms biggest counters are as follows: eyes, ears, a working mouse. That’s it. His abilities are very telegraphed and stupidly loud. If you struggle to land your sleeps on him, then wait for him to be in one of his predictable abilities that he needs to use to win. Doomfist is not overpowered. It’s a skill issue

also doom is super easy to counter hes not really good hes only good if you let him be and this is coming from someone with a bunch of time on doom
