i find him kinda like how op bastion was. it should of been hot fixed by now. but knowing blizzard, its prob gonna take 6 months to a year to nerf him.

It will be just before you fill the forums with something new to complain about.
If you are going to make a nerf post explain what is OP about him without exaggerating like he is the second coming Christ and offer up some potential solutions that’s arnt “delete him”
To just say nerf and mic drop does nothing of any value whatsoever

Doomfists pick rates are higher in diamond-gm- With doomfist appearing typically every game on one side currently, and sym appearing every other game.
These ranks, combined, represent roughly 1 out of every 10 players on the ladder
Where the other 9 out of 10 players exist-
Their pick rates are about the same, within 1% more or less. Sym is typically picked a smidge more at lower ranks, then by gold/plast (which combined house over half the population of the game. Gold itself represents 1 out of ever 3 players), theyre more or less even- However the differences are small, and both are seen every 2nd or 3rd game.
So- Ya. Sym got nerfed while doomfist didnt.
Doomfist is literally a 50% win rate hero where 9/10s of the player base exists. Sym was winning notably more across the ranks where players actually play the game at- And both were bring picked about the same.

Well, there is always the Sombra method.
If a character is oppresive, then the character can be nerfed no matter if the hero is balanced or underperforming.

I wish Sombra was balanced.
If she was I’d use her to counter him but as she is now you have to change her play style and stay in your own backlines just to counter a doomfist

Id rather deal with a df than symettra, torbjorn, bastion. Atleast he has to leave himself open to soldify an elimination. Those 3 all they have to do is hide behind a barrier or wall.
Saying Doomfist is fine and telling others to get good already shows you that Doomfist ain’t fine.
Nerf Hammer is going to hit him harder than a train.
I’ll be one of the first people read the next PTR Patch Notes and drinking Tears of Joy when I see nerfs for him.
He just needs to be balanced for 2-2-2 but not deleted or unplayable.

I can’t imagine it hitting him harder than it did a few months ago thankfully, when he got obliterated.
People seem to forget about that part, earlier this year he got thrown in the trash bin with a whopping 6 nerfs in a single patch, later gave him a small buff to his cooldowns, the meta changed, and suddenly everyone claims he’s always been OP.
There’s a lot of heroes that have CC or mobility tools, just get good with one of those abilities.
If you can dodge a ball or have a stun fiesta on a tank then you can dodge or stun a Doomfist.
And again just a reminder. Doomfist is your current flavor of the month.
Let’s not forget summer flavor of the month Forum Widowmaker who apparently was 360 no scoping everyone across every rank apparently? Did these players suddenly all retire or was that as much an exaggeration as current OP Doomfist?

They didn’t go anywhere. She’s still ridiculous, and does well even against double shield.
But fighting double shield proved very annoying, so it’s those Widows that are playing Doom now. That’s why there’s so few Widows. There’s always that one class of DPS player that can do nothing but abuse unfair heroes.
