Doomfist needs a small nerf period. I’m not here to argue everyone who doesn’t play DF agrees. Everyone who’s below High Masters agrees. Nerf DoomFist. He’s not OP when 6 people focus him down but no hero is when it’s 1v6.
I never play doomfist. But i see no problem with him. He gets clapped by the 2 meta tanks right now (orissa and hog). Honestly anytime I die to doomfist it feels fair. He got to me without me doing anything about it and earned that kill. The only time it feels a little bad when doom gets me is when i’m on zenyatta, but even on zen you have the chance to discord and volley him. Doomfist is balanced, play different heroes in order to deal with him.
Eh. I suck out loud with him, or I should because I never play him, but in mystery heroes yesterday I got a pretty impressive kill streak and freely roamed in and out of the entire amassed enemy team. I was getting pretty fearless at one point, only ultimately getting killed because I got stuck on a doorway one time I was making my exit. Which should indicate my level of skill pretty concisely. And if I was able to do this, considering I’m a man who is defeated by door frames then it might say something. Something anecdotal and not at all scientific of course.
Certain heroes get much much stronger in mystery heroes as players are unable to make efficient swaps to deal with them. Also the chaotic nature of Mystery Heroes means players are less likely to think about positioning and therefore will get feasted on by any doomfist with functioning limbs.
Sombra, mcree, hog, orisa, widow, reaper, junk, pharah, Ana sleep dart, brig stun, Zen if he is good. Sounds like he has counters. Seems like a player issue and not a design issue. On the other hand widow only counters widow at higher elo’s. Nothing wrong with that…
You can die before you even have a chance to react, especially with the tickrate. Why nerf the most perfect smurf hero? Its like you guys want a balanced game or something.

It does suck when I get blasted by his rocket punch because I just happen to walk in the way of it and he wasn’t aiming at me, but that doesn’t happen too often
He’s pretty easily countered by regularly picked heroes, it’s hard to say he needs a nerf
Go sombra. If you hack him, he can only use his hand bullets, and the clip has 4
If you can reliably hit him with sleep dart when he’s zipping around I SALUTE you.
DF always reminds me of the old fighting video games cheesy kill combos. Press “E+Shift” rinse and repeat till there are no more supports in enemy team.
Agreed. I was going to say something similar about nerfing Doom recently. I’ve seen a LOT of games recently where he simply sticks the team on his back and carries. And if he has his ult, he can simply disappear any time he’s in trouble.
DF is really rough in 222 with the Sombra nerfs. He should be toned down as much as Sombra is being.
Doomfist is the only reason why we’re losing comp matches if not EVERYONE INSTANTLY focusses him.
Everytime there’s a DF I scream into the mic “FOCUS DF FOCUS DF FOCUS DF FOR GODS SAKE” and if not everyone gets it -> forget it…
it’s bs, he needs a nerf. No other hero needs this massive focussing to avoid loss.
I have another alt account to train doomfist. Went from bronze to mid gold in around 2 weeks with >60% winrate never did play him before. He is quite easy to pick up and combos are easy to remember.
So i understand the general concern. Hardest counters were Cree, mei, beig and hog so far. CC a doom and follow up and he is a goner. Let him into your softtargets and you might kill him after he gets 2-3 people
Okay but here’s the problem, all of those are the same counters you’d apply to a blading Genji and similarly you will die if you mess any of them up.

yeah , the problem with that is the he flies over the map at mach 5. That makes him almost impossible to hit.
They messed him up since they touched his cooldowns. Before that he was perfectly balanced.
