The hero is broken.
He needs to be completely reworked. He should have been a tank. Like Rein but with a fist instead of a hammer.
The concept of one shotting people is stupid. There should be no one shots in the game and personally would like to see no turrets in the game either
It would be good to see his beta tank version ingame and replacing his ult with something else.
Half of the roster has one shots.

You’d be suprized how often 1 Doomfist can die if you werent that lazy & keep ignoring him so much till it’s too late. Complaining about it wont help you to get better.
I love playing doomfist because of I like to be very aggro and I would consider him my top 5 best heroes just so you know my relation with doom. My first point against this is doomfist is very strong but he has several counters. Here are some a good orisa, hog, sigmas rock, bubble, a doomfist, flash bang, wall or freeze, pharah, reaper, sombra, torb and sym kind of sym because shes busted torb because he can hide behind turret and escape with his overload, sleep, shield bash, lucio speeding away and beat, mercy fly, moria fade, and trans. My second point is that he is looks broken because of double shield as him along with, winston, hammond and kind of pharah and somrbra as they can just go around the shield easier, can ignore or go around the shields. So he can punch a squishy threw shields and knock around the tanks while saying screw you shields. I do agree they should change him a little bit because of his extremely high burst like give him less damage but shorter cooldowns or something. But orisa and sigma are the two strongest heroes in the meta right now so they should get a nerf to something I’m not quite sure what because im not a coder but they need a nerf or shields in general. This way sym will go down in power because with less shields mean less charge and damage and then with no need to ignore shields as much doomfist will become less dominate unless the meta becomes hard dive with a doomfist. If they were to nerf down doomfist then that is the biggest counter to double shields gone. So in summary doomfist isn’t that strong as a hero (yes he is strong if you master him but so is every other hero) but reather strong because of the meta and shields. There are about 21 counters to him some being very strong and other not so much were as double shields have about 3 or 4. And one shots as strong as they are they are in the game for good and have lots of counters like widow are trash right now because of shields.

One shots? I feel like those can be worked around to feel fair and fun (such as charge, hook, damage boosted Ashe). One shots combined with mobility, sustain, and stuns? Yeeeeeah I don’t know about that one.

Or a sign that he’s very effective against double barrier comps. Not surprising really considering how a lot of damage characters struggle against multiple barriers. Including ones that should do well, like Junkrat, but can’t because prior nerfs rendered them ineffective.
Or it could be a perfect storm combination of overtuned plus effective against meta.
doomfist is strong rn cuz all his counters got shut out by double shield AND he can also counter double shield. if double shield goes out then doomfist is back to decent
Nope. not broken. Doomfist is just one of the very few heroes who can do something against all this shield and burst healing.
I agree he needs reworked, however i think his fist should be similar to rein’s charge. Rework his kit a little and put his fist at 8 second cooldown (It’ll be a little faster than rein charge, but he’s also more mobile).
Make an argument based on unbiased facts rather than personal opinions or how you “feel”, then people might listen.
He’s been able to do stuff against EVERYTHING nomatter what meta, except 3-3. He’s not well balanced. A proper double shield team WILL have a mei and maybe a mcree for stunning along with bap and ana. Meaning he’s useless. The problem is that not even that can shut him down at times. A single hero like him should be completely countered by a team of at least 3 stun types. But, even then he’s not.
He literally has to dive into world war 3 to get a kill, if your struggling to focus an inting doomfist you need help.
Do I wish his one shot was a little harder to pull off because it is easy? yes, yes I do wish this. But he is far from killing the game.
Personally I would increase the damage from the actual punch but remove the extra damage he gets from walls.
But again he is just good against shield comps right now, thats all, he isnt op he is just a good pick for the current meta.

The problem is he’s run in almost every match i have, regardless of double shield or not. He’s not being used primarily to “counter” double shield. He’s being used to counter everything else.
He’s even used on teams WITH double shield against Rein Zarya Doom teams.
He’s “good” for the current meta because he’s always been “good” against 2-2-2.
I agree, this hero is completely overpowered, also Moira is crazy…they should rather dedicate themselves to make better balance and far better matchmaker system as working on annoying functions as role queue,…
