He is intelligent. He is also a martial artist with aan enhanced body who can punch through walls without the gauntlet.
As we have seen he can tank bullets and just wait for the right moment to hit his target.
And going by the game he is pretty strong and dominant.
Moreover, he gets things done in Talon.
I am pretty sure he is one of the stronger heroes in lore. I mean he went 1vs3 and took out 2.
While 2 other talon agents had to retreat against two of these (although Winston is the one who pulls out the victories. ).
I mean, he punched through a solid concrete wall without the gauntlet in the lore, so probably. Being strong and skilled only gets you so far, definitely not through a solid concrete prison wall
First, I highly doubt Winston and Hammond have 4 digit IQ levels.
Second, for the least intelligent hero in the game (lorewise), I would give that prize to Roadhog. According to him, his only answer to most problems is violence.
Doomfist is more brute force based. Him grabbing tracer out of blinks is his martial arts training and his cybernetics. If you put a stick into a spinning fan it will stop it, same here.
He’s charismatic, and a natural leader, but Reyes would beat the hell out of him in actual tactical thinking.
Him and his people made it through a talon infested city, took out the leader there with a 140 decibel shotgun and then fought their way out.
Primal rage won only because winston out brute-forced the DF.
Also, they weren’t well versed with each other’s fighting much
Actual combat operatives would have blown him to bits within seconds. He wouldn’t have had a chance to fight back if Reyes and Morrison went against him together. The combined tactical capability with SEP bodies would have caught up easily. I would guess Morrison and Reyes would be telepathic in fighting, having fought together for so long.
Winston won that fight after doom caught tracer and Winston going primal. Not that your whole point is wrong but that statement is false, he was winning until he hurt tracer and Winston went primal.
LOL. I was more pointing out that the idea of, you can literally have ANY weapon you can imagine and here we have a super villain terrorist who’s weapon of choice a really hard punch.
It’s just silly. I wasn’t implying he was the least intelligent hero in lore.
Youre giving the idea too much credit. One of the most dangerous criminals in a terrorist organization. How?
Literally everyone else in Talon.
Genius IQ’s
Brainwashed Human Weapons with insane skills and elite tactical training
Several of them are genetically modified with inhuman capabilities
Literally using weapons boarding the line of fiction and reality (can control gravity, use biotic energy to manipulate DNA at cellular levels, etc.)
Then you have a mercenary who can’t even get out of a jail by himself, who wears a glove that punches super hard, yet is somehow supposed to be just as much a menace as the rest of the Talon cast.
According to the rumor told by the child, Doomfist(s) can “level a skyscraper”.
So yeah. This is beyond anything Soldier, Widow, McCree etc. can dish out.
How many explosives can you carry? Can a single person carry that much explosives anyway?
Doomfist can just punch and punch without needing ammo.
You might as well say that in a world of heroes that there is a hero who does nothing but punch. How dumb is he…? But if he is the strongest…
And its clearly working for Doomfist. He is not dumb. He knows exactly what he is doing.
Apparently this technology to have a powerful weapon only applies to the fist he has. They do not have guns to achieve that kind of power.
