Doomfist has a range-limited auto attack that is also limited in ammo reload speeds.
Doomfist has more predictable movement.
Doomfist has a much larger hitbox.
Doomfist has no passive movement abilities.
Doomfist has clear cooldowns. Aka no CD resets.
Why would I change your mind on something that’s correct
Just wait for those Doomfist haters to come. No matter how right you are, they won’t believe what you say.
Genji doesn’t take control of your character away from you. He also can’t oneshot you.
you have to realize everything here is based on feelings and not fact.
There is no point in trying to argue.
Can Doomfist reflect your graviton? Can he dash multiple times into you? Can he dash at the speed of light at you while ulting? Can he climb walls and double jump? I didn’t think so.
And i’d still prefer all that to one-shots.
He can certainly dash at the speed of light, and has a total get out of jail free card as an ult, where he becomes totally invincible, and then pretty much slams nonmobile heroes with nothing they can do about it. He’s even more hypermobile than Genji.
Genji’s shurikens are’t exactly a long range weapon, and you run out of ammo too.
Genji’s double jumps are quite easy to track.
And more HP, with shields.
But all of his abilities, that are on short cooldowns, give him great mobility.
Clear, but also short. Wasn’t it just 4 seconds for RP?
I’m not trying to say that Doomfist is unfair, just that he and Genji are equal when it comes to being fair. Doomfist is just way more annoying to play against.
don’t blame doomfist for your death. it was your fault for playing in a manner that allowed him to easily kill you
I generally disagree, because he gets REALLY cheap kills on heroes like Ana, but that’s not even the point. Genji still feels way more fair, because I at least actually FIGHT Genji. I don’t get totally thrashed around. Worst thing Genji has is Deflect, but that’s far less loss of control than 3 whole CC abilities.

Uh yeah? Although not lately because he can easily break hack with any of his mobility abilities.
Maybe you should switch, if you can do that. Since you think getting kills as Doomfist is cheap, make your profile public so we can see your stats on Doomfist.
I find that playing McCree, Pharah, Brig, Sombra, Mei, and Orisa can ruin his day.

The opponent is just capitalizing on an opportunity you gave them
On average, if you’re average-below average as Doomfist you will be an ez kill. If you’re below average as Genji, you’ll be a bit harder to kill.
Yeah they sure did the fatal mistake of being outside of spawn. Doomfist can do some really ridiculously cheap kills out of nowhere.
