Doomfist is an OP hero with 0 bugs

Lol in that video it looks like you just clicked right mouse button instead of holding it longer.

Some of them were in fact bad luck and others were bugs.

After watching most of those punches, I have come to the conclusion that Doomfist must hit his target ā€œsquareā€ to get a full wall hit effect.

Seismic Slam doesnā€™t destroy railings. Mercyā€™s GA does, Seismic Slam should too.

Thatā€™s not a latency issue, thatā€™s an issue with stacking momentum/CC.

Sadly there is no wall between the target and Doomfist, so whatā€™s your point.

Good afternoon hater. Iā€™ve played doom before, not as much hours you have but I still get his game plan. His one shot compared to widow and hanzo is 20x easier and thereā€™s no denying that. I get tracer was standing still but if she was moving or if it was any other character, it will still be easy to hit due to how big the hitbox is. Letā€™s not forget that you donā€™t even have to look an enemy to hit your uppercut. This means if ana sleeps you and she isnā€™t directly behind you, she may be hit off to the side and since it comes out frame one, heā€™ll survive whatever sheā€™s hitting him with.

Also railings count as walls for rocket punch. So do small objects such as trees, certain stairs etc. Oh and off the map thereā€™s an invisible wall so youā€™ll just die regardless if you have mobility. ā€œHard characterā€

At every rank of play, from Gm down to bronze, widow has both a higher percent of solo kills compared to her total eliminations than Doomfist (and theyā€™re typically within a couple eliminations of each other overall at every rank) and more overall actual oneshots than Doomfist.

Widow can be making one shot attempts every second or so- and due to no fall off, usually at a range thatā€™s well beyond the range most heroes can typically interact reliably or consistently with.

Doomfists one shot however has a max hold time of .6 of a second now once it reaches full charge, and fires automatically 2 seconds after he begins charge initially.

He canā€™t aim it up.

It only travels 20 meters at the most.

Widow doesnā€™t. Thereā€™s no telegraph to her oneshot. Thereā€™s a follow up- but no precursory input that itā€™s coming.

For every wall sliding bug, theres just as many bull@#$& punch kills they get. From angles that should not have resulted in colliding with a wall, or getting hit into tiny environmental objects like the edge on stairs etc. I get that bugs are annoying, but heā€™s just not designed well on either side.

Ok I never said I liked widow. I hate her too, itā€™s just that oneshots arenā€™t a good mechanic in fps. All I said earlier was that at least widow/hanzoā€™s oneshot takes some sort of skill. Yes you can hear doom charging and stay behind a corner but what if Iā€™m behind a shield? Thereā€™s no downside for doom punching through a shield and picking off a random squishy.

Just like theres no downside for a widow who misses her shot from 50 meters away and goes ā€œoh well. ill just fire againā€.

Just like theres no ā€œdownsideā€ for a hanzo who is just lobbing arrows aimlessly at a group of enemies only for one to randomly get a headshot.

Just like theres no downside when widow aims for a body shot, but the target crouches just before she fires- giving her a head shot.

At least with doomfists rocket punch you have a huge telegraphed window to react, and then interact with the hero who just threw himself at you.

What is so hard for predicting which way the enemy will strafe. They starfe left punch right because theyā€™ll try to dodge it. A child could do that.

Tracer and pharah never play behind a shield. Ana isnā€™t always going to have sleep same with orisa fortify And hook. Also thereā€™s 5 other enemies that can interrupt or bait those abilities.

Yes letā€™s all stay grouped up like a conga line. Letā€™s be open for ultimates like grav. Letā€™s put in all this effort just to counter a mediocre doom.

Go try it on humans who are actually reacting to you and not a tracer who is just standing there and see for yourself.

This goes equally against Doomfist too. Heā€™s diving headfirst into a group of enemies.

Ya cuz playing with your tanks is just crazy talk.
