I keep seeing regular posts here about doomfist needing buffs. I don’t believe he needs buffs (read: buffs not bug fixes) and this comes from a doom main. Doom and most heroes can play around their counters, however playing against the two hitscans snipers is the most uphill battle you can have.
The only things that needs to be tweaked are Ashe and Widow.
I’ve read some great ideas about tweaking widow, such as:
-Lowering her health to 150
-disabling her hook for two seconds after taking any damage but lowering the ability cooldown to 8 seconds. To allow for frequent repositioning but no get out of jail free card
-decreasing her fire rate and reducing body shot damage
-Adding a visible, slightly transparent laser emitting from her gun and revealing her location after she reaches max charge when scoping. Discourages hard scoping and makes player think more.
For Ashe, I personally would like to see an increased cool down for the coach gun or the removal of its cc ability on the enemy team.
Overall, I don’t think snipers should have such amazing mobility. P.s tracer needs to lose that buff increasing her range

Other than flat out wasting time waiting for every single person to use their CC magically.

Doomfist doesn’t really need buffs. He’s hard to play, but he only really has one weak point. That being the hang after his uppercut. Any time besides that and he’s all sorts of hard to actually deal meaningful damage to. The ones who REALLY need the help are Mei, Sym, and Sombra.
Absolutely agreed. Especially with Widow.

uppercut recovery to 0.20 from 0.35 else the ability is completely useless unless used as a finisher in desperate situations

He does in this state of the game.
Of course they can make him better by nerfing the others, which is a fine way, but I don’t think they’ll do it tbh.
Hitscans’ lethality is fine atm, they need to bring others at their level.
You can make widow weaker by buffing Doom’s E, which won’t break him.
He just needs the Uppercut recovery rate back at 0.2 , currently it’s such a self hindering ability that Pro players would rather AIM then even use the uppercut.

Im sorry but all of that is necessary in a game like overwatch. Without cc mobility heroes would be running around destroying everyone.
So the cc spam heroes like doom and ball are countered by… cc…ironic.
Doom can usually attack unpredictably to avoid alot of CC. It’s really only when the whole enemy team knows where you’re coming from that you get cc’d to death.
Snipers however are usually on high ground behind their team which requires cooldowns to reach. They apply constant heavy pressure and can easily relocate when in danger. Alot more icky trying to outplay snipers with dive Heroes. I’d rather dive a hero with cc than the snipers.
Revert his most recent slam, uppercut, and meteor strike changes and he’s gucci.

The only unpredictable movement he has is turn punching. You’re wasting your punch to go in, and leaving yourself with no escape.
You automatically lose in that situation.
Unless you’re turn punching in, uppercut shots, and then slamming out. Which just isn’t good enough to secure kills and isn’t reliable at all.
I can go in from a full 180 degrees behind them, and STILL get hit by CC. It doesn’t matter.
If nothing else, his Uppercut needs to get reverted.

His whole playstyle screams MOBA hero, in a game where most heroes can delete you in less than 2 seconds.
