We know that Blizz know how Hero 29 is gonna work months before now (Like August, it was likely finalized).
And has likely balanced the last patch in prep of Hero 29 release.
So what do you feel like is missing currently? (Hero 29 is likely gonna fill it.)
Note: Not guessing myself, who Hero 29 is at this point… Cause really with no hints, could be anyone.
Let focus on guessing the likely upcoming mechanics and go up from there.
For example: Who is strong right now? (Hero 29 is likely gonna be a direct counter.)

Watch it be another unbalanced dps hero instead of the tanks and supports the game needs.

Could be another Dps Tank like Roadhog? Maybe? (But long range focused)

I think alot of people just don’t know how to (in the words of Piccolo) DOOOOOOOOOODGE. But maybe the hero has a better Defense Matrix… since that counters it. (i think, double checking right now)

Defense Matrix eats his ult. I’ve seen it done.
This, of course, requires that you have a Dva on your team paying attention.
Doesn’t change the fact that once he’s carpeted the payload/objective with it, you have to wait for the entire duration, or try to touch and go to contest.

Maybe something close of how, D. Va used to be, before the missiles. Back when she was more anchor tank then dive.
I think if there’s a Mei on your team, they should be able to use the endothermic blaster to cool the lava, rendering it inert, or drastically bring the DPS down on it.
Fortify all teammates could the next ult.

I would really love to see a support specializing in shields and cleansing to have an edge against negative effects, and somehow i think Athena or Daehyon would fit that role just nice.
Still think it’s likely gonna be a Tank, since WB didn’t really meet most expectations.
I would like for a tank hero with a rail gun, focused around magnetic abilities.
