Doomfist is literally wearing an empowered gauntlet in his hand which can level skyscrapers but yet he only does 30 damage per melee but zen with his sticky metal legs does 45?
Knockback is as far as a half charged Rocket Punch what exactly is the point of that?
Overall joke - A normal rocket punch 0 charge and no wall impact does somewhere around 25-30 damage
So they literally gave zen buffs which doom should have as his baseline kit lol
Doom’s rocket punch damage is pathetic. Without the power up it should do 75 (with the punch + wall) and with the power up it should do like 150
People are gonna go oooo he’s a tank he shouldn’t have high damage, but then Zarya, Roadhog and Sigma exist. Even Hammond’s piledrive can do up to 100 damage in an AoE
It feels like they semi made him a bit underpowered, remember they said that they didnt want to introduce changes to doom or orisa because of their massive changes right away

Idea that pleases both parties. Keep Doomfist punch as it is BUUT allow maximum charge automatic release punch to one shot like the DPS Doomfist. This means it requires better timing to get a one shot but it takes longer as you have to wait for the charging animation to finish by itself and the game launches you forward instead of the player launching themselves forward by releasing right click.
we don’t want a one shot we didn’t even want it on dps doom what we want is to have some actual damage and not sneeze on the other team like at most normal punch should do 60 punch 30 wall (90 total) and empowered should be 80 punch and 60 wall (140 total) that’s all we want OR make powerbock ya know actually block stuns and sticky nades

He has the highest mobility in OW history, the most opportunities for CC, and a damage negation ability (that needs upgraded but still).
Buffing his damage too much will make him the strongest tank pretty easily, and this topic is another in a long line of people who want Doom to maintain his DPS energy.
zen kick doesnt have a radius big enough to hit entire teams standing in chokes nor does it give him anywhere from 30-150 health per use, i swear everyone complaining about doom punch conveniently forgets about its crazy aoe
Yeah, then the argument “HE CAN LEVEL SKYSCRAPERS, WHY IS HE A SNEAKY ASSASSIN KILLING THE BACKLINE” is also invalid, thus making his rework stupid.
