There is only 1 tank and Doom sounds like he has nothing to help the team. At least Hog can hook problem targets like Ball for example. But doom is 100% selfish. He will just buggery off and do Doom things while his team gets rolled.

If he can’t one shot, he’ll literally play like Winston. You go in, do a bunch of cleave, and have people follow up with you. He really doesn’t sound that selfish at all tbh.

Was about to post the same I think he will work like Winston but do a bit more damage than winston, maybe a hybrid between winston and ball since slam will probably be an AOE abillity like it is now like how ball smashes.
Less health and shield than winston though.
In general it seems like they’re trying to get us to play less around our tanks… tank. I don’t think Doomfist will be out of the ordinary.

We haven’t really seen his rework yet. Nor do we know how he plays in OW2. It may sound selfish, but we can’t say for sure.
Selfish can work though. While the enemy team focuses on the giant man cleaving through their health, any coordinated team would be able to follow up on the space he takes and the displacement he could cause (Dps Doom can already fill this roll to an extent.) And if he is getting a block ability this makes him even better at that job.

Good. Tank role is the most depressing, utterly frustrating experience beause of how team dependent they are.
