That is usually a sign a hero is overpowered, when people come in and start their rant “I know the hero is going to be complained about, please don’t listen to those people”
I’ve not even played, or really faced him, but this is a tell which Transends heroes.
Brig mains did it with OG Brig, Mercy mains did it Moth, Genji mains did it when he was OP, it doesn’t matter the hero or role, it is always how it goes.
You could balance based off forum comments I swear to god.
He’s in a perfect spot for you because he absolutely dumpsters the poor supports.
You feel strong now when before you were weak and you think that that is fine simply because its your hero.
The Support role is not there to be dominated and just be fodder for everyone else’s PotG. They’re given no respect by both the community and Blizzard at this point.
There are heroes that have a high skill ceiling, why shouldn’t a good players who practices day and night on harder heroes or slightly more complex heroes do well? This whole idea of nerfing and gutting everyone is ridiculous.
Now everyone is complaing about Tracer and Doom lol its a joke
What a stupid comment - Of course I’m getting value from him because he’s finally a bit better than before. No one was EVER getting any value out of him previously. You had to use a billion brain cells to make a dent in the enemy team compared to any other tank
Hey, I’m all for that, but there is a point where you cross over into “you know it isn’t going to stay like this”
Sombra is normally a high skill hero right? but OW2 release Sombra wasn’t. Did I have fun? oh HELL YEAH.
Did I know I was only going to get maybe a Season? Hell yeah I did.
So, enjoy it for what it is. There is nothing wrong with reveling in the pure unholy power of it.
Just don’t fool yourself in thinking this is how it will be long term, that’s all.
I’m playing a lot of Tracer right now, because she is cracked. It is fun you know. Maybe she will even stay like this if she doesn’t get picked up a lot in mid, but, you know, I will have had my fun.
Doom SHOULDN’T be nerfed down to what he was, I think everyone can agree with that. But he is unlikely to stay where he is.
What cells are that? You get ‘thousands’ of shields for scratching people. You fly across the map in seconds, you stun people with seconds of CD. Where are the brain cells needed for this lol.
NGL bastion is quite strong. Sometimes I can’t even kill him due to damage reduction combined with healing on some DPS
T500 Doom players complained and warned the devs the changes are too bad. Samito basically said ‘good luck support players’ because of how strong doom is. Other T500 have all said doom is too strong lol.
Except Winston and Sigma are healthy designed when strong. Zarya was overtuned a bit and got nerfs and now I basically never see her. Doom got many buffs at once and is now broken. He’ll be getting nerfed lol.
Hammond doesn’t actually need any buffs. He is a strong tank. The problem with him is that teammates don’t know how to play with him and would rather blame the Hammond player for being garbage. He already got his knockback back. While being less problematic than doom he can easily be broken too.
If you want a tank is complain about, complain about Junkerqueen. They literally just nerfed her to further cement her as being the worst tank in the game.
Oh he definitely up there right now. If not a little bit beyond…
Well… he’s still having trouble killing targets named Roadhog and a few others that are attended well by Supports.
But right now, he’s really resilient and tough to kill. That’s probably not a bad thing, since he’s going to have trouble killing targets on his own. On the other hand, getting 40 shields per target is probably too much, and 30’s too low. So hitting 35 would be a happy medium.
Ehhh, I wouldn’t say his rocket punch is easy to land.
Definitely not. I actually like they took to heart one of my initial comments about front loading Rocket Punch’s damage on the initial hit instead of relying on wall slams for most of his damage. It works a lot better this way.
They’re not, but most of them are in a good spot. Doomfist is incredibly resilient, and Queen takes a hit too easily. Meanwhile Ramattra has too many overt weaknesses and it’s easy to abuse them, with very little he can do about it, other than block really well.
I honestly think all he needs is the removal of the ministun on his regular punch. Or at least, that’s a good starting point. That buff is huge and was totally unnecessary.
Okay cool but other heroes like Sombra and Genji, which were barely broken, were nerfed too heavily, it’s only fair the same standard is applied to all heroes.
