Don't nerf widow, release a counter hero

All in title.
I know a nerf is pretty straight forward.
Since multiple weeks(months?) people are crying about Widowmaker.
She doesn’t need a nerf, her one shot mechanics are the same since d1, people are still complaining about it.

You can show me her pickrates, it means not so much, a good Widow is a good Widow, a bad one is a bad one.

With all these players crying, I’m affraid she gets some sneaky nerfs to please the vocal minority crying about her.

A counter hero would be pretty nice instead of nerfing her, even if it takes time to create one from scratch.

They said they were working on multiples heroes, so why instead of destroying hero by nerfing/reworking them, you tried to release counter heros?

Hero 31 should be a hero that counters stationary comps, like Bunker or Double Sniper

Naw she needs hard nerfs, this character brings to much value to the team. Blizzard should have learned that 1 shots dont work in this game they all need to be taken out. Widow literally takes 0 risk and can 1 shot most of the cast from any range. Being hard to play doesn’t excuse the character from being busted which she currently is.

What would you say a character that perfectly hard counters widowmaker would play like?

We already have a counter, Genji. He reflects sniper shots, can dash right up to her, and his movements can make it hard for widow to get a lock on.

It would have to be a reverse Zarya that can surround Widow in a self-contained bubble that eats outgoing damage and locks mobility. Bizzaro Zarya can also dive her.

If people cannot figure out how to counter her with Sombra or Hammond… We ain’t getting a counter hero that does the job. Forum Widow is a beast, bruh.

Counters can be killed by their targets, but the idea is that more often than not they win in a fair matchup

No.

Hard counters are horrible and only create worse and harder to kill metas. I don’t want what happend to Tracer and Genji with Brig to happen to anyone else. Despite how much I believe Widowmaker is too strong.

Omg, did that Widow just headshot a Genji that moved straight at her? Holy Mother of… I need to learn from this Widow. Such skill. How did she ever land a predictable shot? Dang. Makes me want to grind Widow seeing that infinite skill ceiling right there.

In Gm/T500 Widow players are too oppresive.
At the point that it’s just not even fun.

How long is that? 6 months to a year? Plus they’re making another Overwatch, so why would they keep adding content to this game?

The other overwatch is just a spinoff of the main. They’re two different genres. They’ll likely coexist

never talked about hard counter, i don’t want a second brig in the game, i’m just talking about a counter, such as we already have for different heros, or at least a hero that have abilities that counters widow’s gameplay/kit
