I hear a lot of people who hold out hope that Blizzard will take heroes out of the Battlepass. While this is undoubtedly the best route for hero releases, as balance hinges on players having access to every hero, Blizzard has been known to pull out the rug from under us to keep us playing so they can make more money. They also promised several other things, like the PVE, right?
So despite the comments of one developer on an SvB podcast, this hope for free heroes is misplaced, and so is any trust for Blizzard Entertainment. Only give your praises when the action is finally taken.

exactly this, i wish the community would stop taking blizzardâs words at face value as if the game is magically going to fix itself now that bobby is gone
ultimately, we have to take the âwait and seeâ approach otherwise massive disappointment will ensue

iâm sure your word is more credible than someone who works on the game

The way this applies to everything Blizzard does.
People are already claiming that WoW is ââsavedââ because they watched a very good presentation are why Blizzard gets away with nonsense like this.
OP is just pointing out that Blizzâs PR promises dont match what they actually do down the line.
This is not ââOP vs a Blizz employeeââ. This is What Blizz Says vs What Blizz Does.

No their words are credible because they actually PLAY the game.
So yeah hold your applause until they actually do something worth applauding.

I never said itâs not going to happen. All Iâm saying is that theyâve broken promises before.

Sounds to me something similar to Paladins, but in Overwatch worse edition where they enforce 300k free coins for each hero to unlock
The truth is that it surprises me how people donât notice how incredibly manipulative Blizzard is, almost everything they say are half-truths, or in some cases they are very obvious lies, but people believe them anyway
and then there are cases that really seem disgusting to me, like when they use pinkwashing to pretend to be innocent every time it is shown how heartless they can be, like when out of nowhere they announced that maybe in the future there is the possibility of maybe adding a transgender character to OW, on the exact same day that they delivered a report for a trial that demonstrated more than 120 cases of harassment in just 6 months.
Donât get me wrong, I like that they try to add this type of characters, but I find it deplorable that they use them to try to hide their bad habits
I hardly see anyone with the âhard light weapon skinsâ I suggest Blizzard replace heroes with weapon skins in the BP. Heros should be free and unlocked for everyone.
After Mauga, I would genuinely be surprised. Then again, I was genuinely surprised it took this community a year to notice the game was pay to win.
Once upon a time Blizzard used to be sarcastic and teasing in a good way, but now that their reputation is in shatters, it comes across as lies and deceit.
Weâve been doing this since the 3 year dead period of OW1.
Each and every time we waited, we only saw disappointment.
At best theyâll take them out of the battle pass but weâd still have to either pay for them individually 900 coins or unlock them through hero challenges.
