So what do you all suggest I do when my entire team is getting spawn camped, they trickle out getting hooked by Hog and/or headshot by Widow, and they don’t listen in VC despite me waiting in spawn and crying out to each of them as they walk by me one by one as another teammate(s) is respawning to stop trickling, wasting ults, and feeding?
What do I do?

according to the experts focusing on your own mistakes will somehow magically overcome the fact one person can throw the whole game. i think you develop jedi mind control or something.

Lose with dignity, and go on to win the next game. Blaming them doesn’t help anything but your pride.

So conclude my teammates are bad, lose, then move on?
Pick Widow/Hanzo yourself and practice aim. From spawn getting one or two picks might tip scales since enemies need to run whole way back.
But most importantly remember this is only a game. Games suppose to be fun experiance, dont put too much pressure on yourself that you NEED TO CLIMB. All you get is braging rights and shiny pixels under icon.
Fine you blame ur teammates, then what? Are they gonna change? No. Move on. Like zekki said, it doesnt help one bit other than ur pride.
Not so much if the spawns like those Anubis 1st point (for example) have free-fire spots in the spawn where you can still get hit by things.
Games like this one which are super competitive are also not suppose to be dice rolls in terms of experience.
I can guarantee you’re just as bad as them, that’s why you’re at that rank. You see their mistakes but not yours. Not saying they’re not doing something bad, but acting like your perfect is pretty pathetic.

Make a youtube video, the new replay function is awesome can record derankers and upload it :3
Still if they are spawn camped it means enemies are at the door, so killing one or two means they have home advantage since more time passes for them to join fight than your team.
Are they super competetive? At launch it was casual experiance. Something to kickback, have few laughs, make silly play. Competetive in first form was No limits so total masness. Still hero balancing now and lack of any control over flow of game makes it rather casual experiance. And by flow I mean your team. You might get people who dont have any synergy and nothing more than cannon fodder that wont even slow enemies down.
I guess If you wannna it to be extra competetive you can try play that way. But better do it with team that you play a lot.
Okay fine, but then how do you rank up aside from being so good that you can be considered a smurf? Because if you do get better, you still have to pray that your teammates did as well since you’re not going to win 1v6

Prepare to lose…
Game often run like that when you reach the limit of your skills. You think your team mates make you lose when, in fact, you are just not good enough to keep ranking up.
I have just accepted my fate and collect gold medals and sick plays to be honest. I should be low diamond, but I am not good enough to solo carry high plats. So… Whatever, I drop until I hard carry low plats. Rofl.
Yeah well, you’re never gonna be a pro if you’re having fun. Pros don’t have fun.

Okay.
So then tell me dude.
What do YOU suggest I do in a scenario like this?
How about I give you a BETTER example of something notable that actually happened a few months ago.
Let’s say I’m play a healer (in the case of this example, Mercy) and the enemy team are running bunker with a hitscan (McCree) and a sniper (Widow). The round starts and I immediately see our Soldier for god knows what reason sprinting past our Rein shield to somehow “close the distance” and getting sniped (I saw it with my own eyes and I had the biggest surprised pickachu face). Everyone else on the enemy team cleans up the fight except I’m hidingnear the spawn because there is no one else to try and heal.
As I’m hiding, I say to my team who is now trickling and getting picked by the McCree and the Widow, “group up”. Sometimes in VC, sometimes through the voiceline.
Despite that, I continue to see one teammate after the other trickling and getting sniped and I’m only healing to just get ult charge at this point as well as helping them build slightly more ult charge faster with damage boost (because no amount of heals can stop a one shot kill and bear in mind, I’m the only healer).
Then I am now literally sitting near the spawn spamming voicelines to group up and begging all my teammates to group up because I know their trickle fest is blatantly not working (and I already have my ult) and all of this is done in protest.
I literally say “I am not moving an inch until we all group up.”
What happens?
NOTHING.
Just more trickling and trickling against a sniper hitting practically all headshots.
Game ends. I didn’t die a single time the whole game. I communicated as best as I could handle with oblivious teammates.
So what should I have possibly done differently in that scenario huh?

Well, you could have follow a tank at a safe distance.
And suddenly, bang! group of 2!
Better yet, your tank got healing! And maybe the momentum could build up again!
Or maybe warn that the Widow is a good shot, better wait for shield tank. That will make people think twice, better than “group up” voice line.
Thing is, instead of wondering “what could I do, to improve our chance of success”, you just thought “how stupid could those morons go”!
Feels good, perhaps, but doesn’t increase your chance of winning.
Winning doesn’t come easily, you gotta fight for it…
Assuming you’re not playing wildly outside your rank, you just are not going to be able to win some games. You just need to win a majority of them to climb, not every single one.
Swap to something that can help protect them better. If they won’t stick with you, you stick with them.
If you can keep the first teammate alive for a few seconds, the others start catching up. Boom, now you’re grouped up.
There’s always something you could do to improve your odds. Sitting in spawn and yelling at others isn’t going to help with anything. Stop complaining and go out and at least try.

How do you propose I do that when each teammate of mine is trickling and doing their own thing?
Even if I followed just one, a 2v6 is not winnable.
Me complaining has nothing to do with it. If I go out and “try” to 1v6 the enemy team, i’m not only feeding but also making the game harder for myself because of that.
