Don’t get your hopes up for Ramattra

I’m pretty positive that he’s going to be locked behind the battle pass paywall.

Kiriko was free for overwatch 1 players so we already had access.

But Ramattra is going to be different I believe, so you won’t be able to play him immediately unless you buy the battle pass or grind to tier 55

Yep. They are 100% incentivized to make the new tank OP and keep him that way through the whole season, like how Sojourn is clearly broken but somehow she is tied to profits so they cant touch her.

They already said this is how it will be, if he’s worth it I’ll buy the pass ez

And? People that play the game a lot are going to get the Battlepass regardless of if a hero is on it or not as it enables the fun progression part of the game. $10 is not a big investment for a hobby you spend many hours on.

All new heroes will be available on the free track…

Just like Kiriko was.

You don’t have to pay for anything unless you choose to.

Can you explain this please?

Just like how Kiriko is sooooo OP?

Fine with me. I’ll be purchasing the BP day one.

as long as i get characters for free i dont care if i need to lvl up bp personally and i couldnt care less about cosmetics if i tried

Why are you posting confirmed information as if you are predicting this to happen?

Already have my Watchpoint Pack credits ready, because the shop is so absurd I could never be tempted to actually spend any there.

OWL related.

She is very strong, people just need time to learn to play as her and around her.

He is because they told us he would be just like all new heros after Kiriko. I am at like BP 150 now and I don’t play that much really so…

Same could be said about any hero if you’re willing to do the same.

Strong and OP are not synonymous.

Went up against probably the sweatiest (I say that in a positive way) Sym player last night who’s team was coordinating well with them. If you’re willing to coordinate work around the strengths of certain heroes, they could pay off. That hardly makes them an OP hero though.

The thing about precedence (as you implied with your comment) is that something has needed to happen in order to suggest that it’ll happen again.

Will Rammatra be locked behind the BP? Yeah probably, Kiriko was.

Will he be OP and incentivize players to pay to acquire him? We don’t know, because it hasn’t happened yet.

I’m not TBH I feel like OW is having an identity crisis and I say that because he doesn’t look like an OW hero at all and I said this in another post he looks like a Destiny character.

The battle pass system is crap anyways because YOU CAN’T GO BACK TO THE ONES YOU ACTUALLY BOUGHT LOL! They literally inserted their FOMO strategy into BATTLE PASSES! Worst outcome.

I think 55 is a tad high in the list, but I don’t think the system they have in place (specifically for the new heroes) is a horrible system to go by - if they stick to it.

Nah. People who really care about the skins will get the pass. I don’t like any of the skins on the current pass. Most of the included skins aren’t even for heroes I play regularly. Are you saying I should buy it anyway, because I like a completely different part of the game?

Progression is nice in most games, but I can see what’s in the pass from the start. Why would I pay for 70 ugly filler cosmetics and a Genji skin when I’m almost always playing Rein, Zarya, and Lucio?

Please tell me how she is distinct from every other hero in the game in that regard (especially as for new players, she is not any more “new” than Widowmaker) and why they wouldn’t give that treatment to other heroes that have actual OWL skins?

I don’t see the link.

Kiriko is tier 55? So why would ram be high? Unless you’re saying personally their levels their east is stupid because I agree
