So I understand that the game won’t save progress from a console to a pc. However, I just changed my ssd and had to start putting my games all back on my computer from scratch. Will I have to buy overwatch again if I had already made an account and bought the game before?
No, you shouldn’t have to.
Your profile, etc are all stored in Blizzards servers, so that one can access their account from any PC.
Unless their servers fail catastrophically (extremely unlikely), you should be fine.
Can confirm- you can play the same account on multiple devices. I switch ps4s occasionally and everythings kept online.
