It’s definitely a mechanism that should be augmented…

They should have added a multi-perspective POTG. Especially for plays where multiple teammates made something happen.

The Zarya Grav > Insert Ult Follow Up Here.
Rein Shatter > Insert Ult or Plays made
Nano Boost > Player doing whatever

etc.

Many times Ive seen Potg given to the wrong people who happen to be present when the actual person making the play is nearby.

As far as I know it takes whoever gained the most fire (solo kill = 100) whoever did get the most in a defined amount of time(potg length)

Which means in the lucio example, winston did more than 150fire points for the 3 kills)
Lucio killed them with boop with less than 1 full hp and 1 under half hp. = winston did more.
