As in her performance reports on Tab. Is getting 3-4 golds on her doing well, or just average?
I realize she gets inflated Eliminations because it’s so easy for her to contribute to kills with her kit, but its still hard to not get a big head when I have 4 golds and a 15+ kill streak by the end of the game. But I know from being a previous D. Va main that gold medals can be a really deceptive form of true valuable performance. Is this the case with Moira? >.>
Average.
Simply put she consistently puts out low damage on multiple targets, she can spam heal, her attack also heals, her ult does dps and heal.
So a mediocre Moira can get 4 golds no problem and still be ineffective. Like being too aggressive and not healing, doing a little damage to a lot of targets which if any of them die, gets you an elim. So you could miss out on healing while you do a little damage Andy lose the team fight.
But the game sees each enemy that died took 5 damage from you, so while Reaper killed one, 76 killed one and Reindhart killed one, each getting one elimination, the Moira gets 3 eliminations for doing 5 damage on each.
She is the EASIEST to farm stats with.
The only gold that would be unusual for her to get would be damage done, and if Moira got that one there is a LOT going wrong with the team. A combination of she’s too aggressive and the dps sucks big ones.

If the enemy had a heavy barrier composition, Moira can spam her damage biotic orb through it and get 200 damage easily, it just feeds the enemy support, but they can.
Also, her ultimate does the same thing. Allowing her to actually get gold damage easily vs a barrier centric opposition.
People a lot of the time use Moira as a crutch. She can do so much healing that you can do dumb things and survive. That’s why Zen/Mercy is so common in OWL while Moira is one of the lowest played supports. According to Winson’s Lab she is at the bottom for supports.(besides Sym lol)

Take your gold healing and reduce it by the self heal stat to know if you really have gold healing over your fellow healers or if your self heal is inflating it
She has consistent dmg, her elmination stat can be inflated as she can add damage to every target being focused due to how her biotic grasp functions.
If you are out dpsing your team with the orb CD and coalescence, then your team needs to try new heroes/tactics. If barriers are making it so they can’t get anything done, then your team isn’t doing what it needs to do to flank or bust down those barriers.
Maybe in a triple tank or triple support setup I could see that being the case, but not in a 2/2/2.
Can she be played with high skill though? I have so much fun with her because she feels like a support version of Winston or Tracer, two of my other favorite heroes. I like sneaking cheeky kills in with the Fade and cutting off escapes, although I dont focus on it. I just like that being an option that people dont expect.

If you have Gold damage and gold healing then someone on your team is doing something wrong.
We all know that, but if your team isn’t going to switch around and you are solo tanking so you can’t do much, Moira farms the gold.
Oh I totally agree, that’s my point. Your team (some parts or collectively) isn’t doing what they should be doing if Moira has all the golds, most particularly damage done.
But bragging about elims/obj kills is lol-worthy, I actually brag to my team in a whiny voice every time I heal as Moira and get those. XD
She’s so easy to play they doing anyhting with her is easy.

So, in that case, what’s the best indicator of performance with her? Kill streak? Survivanlbility is a big part of her kit.
Tagging anyone with damage before they die grants you credit towards the kill, which makes it easy to inflate your kill medals.
Moira can throw a damage orb at the enemy, tag all of them with chip damage that is easily outhealed and just feeds the enemy support ults… but the medal system will still credit Moira with the kill when they die to whoever actually kills them.
Lay off the salt boy.
imo, healing done is the most important stat. Everything else is good, but her tickle damage doesn’t mean much stat-wise. If you are healing 99% of the time but using that 1% to finish off a target or a pesky Genji/Pharah, you’re doing it right.
That’s my opinion anyway, I’m a very defensive Moira. My healing/assists are in the top single digit %'s on overbuff, whereas my offensive stats are in the bottom %'s. XD
Gold in elims is almost a given. I wish solo kills or final blows was a medal. I go out of my way to confirm a lot of kills when im Moria. She’s a hero for the offensive minded support. I choose her if i need to help kill squishies and Zen if their tanks are an issue.
