I am wondering this because I was sure that you can modify the dmg of tire with nano or mercy dmg boost or even b0ngodrum but after seeing some clips of junk tires I will see the mercy assist in the killfeed with the junkrat tire kills so I just want to see if it is a thing of tire being able to be damage boosted

Damage boost doesn’t work for constructs. This includes riptires, Torb turret, and Symmetra sentries.

no separate entities (as in they have their own healthpool) aren’t affected by damage boost
Think so, i know D.va’s ult will benefit from Ana’s nano but you have to nano baby D.va not the mech itself
then why is it then that there will be a mercy assist on tire kills even when the mercy was not going battle mercy, I was watching todays rapida vid and noticed a pharmercy double kill with tire AND it had a mercy assist so either remove that part because then it is misleading that mercy can damage boost junk to power tire, I will say tho that the clip did not pan out to the junk after the tire kill so im not sure if the mercy was dmg boosting but if she did not go battle mercy and got tire kill assist then the only other way would be dmg boost
Mercy gets an assist if any damage boosted target did any damage to killed enemy, regardless the amount of damage or who land a final blow.
then that would mean that her damage boost affected the tire if it is popping up because it was a full 100% kill with the tire on both the mercy and the pharah no say 87 or something
she showed up because the damage boost affect pharahs shots so she was included as an assist
I know that dmg boost affects pharah rockets no what happened is a junk saw that there was a pharmercy so he went into hiding for a moment and popped tire, chased them down and killed both of them while they were in the air for both 100% contribution and in the kill feed it shows the junk tire kills icon WITH a merc assist mini mercy icon next to him like usual assist icons in OW

Overwatch moments episode 150 at 6:38 is when the clip begins its on eichenvald and as I said a junk with tire notices a pharmercy above them hides in the small hallway with the mini in the back on first point uses tire and climbs walls to get to their hight and kill the pharmercy the pharah is a 100% participation kill and the mercy is a 82% mercy kill (at first I thought both were 100% kills but just the pharah) and in the kill feed it shows the junkrat tire kill WITH mercy “assisting” the junkrat even on the 100% kill on the pharah
ok just watched the clip and I can say my explanation was still right minus pharah being there junkrats teammates one of them had damaged both of them while being boosted resulting in mercy getting an assist on them junkrat wasnt being boosted by her (No blue arrow before and no small blue arrows showing up on the hud of the junkrat when zooming in to the kill feed) also the reason it shows pharah as 100 is because mercy healed pharah to full
ok it just seems a little weird and I thought maybe they did a small change to it because it would not be the first time they updated and game with a small thing like that and did not put it in the patch notes for EX if sombra hacked someone who was say in mid air flying (a Dva) and fell to their deaths because they got hacked it used to be where sombra would not get the full 100 credit just the hack credit but now that is no longer the case so I thought it might have been one of those instances
