Does Hog end up joining Talon?

Just rewatching old hero gameplay trailers for the fun of it, and Roadhog is often paired with the Talon members. I’d guess that this is just because there was no Talon tank before Sigma (however Hog is still shown with Talon in Sigma’s trailer). What are the odds that Hog (and maybe Junkrat although he seems a bit too bumbling for them) ends up joining Talon in OW2?

If Hog and Junk join Talon it would be purely to get rich, either because Talon promises them a lot of money and/or they cook up a scheme to steal from Talon lmao. I don’t see Hog having any interest otherwise.

I’d love it if Talon bribes them to help them but ends up instantly regretting it and having to babysit Junkrat

Talon can probably hire them as mercenaries. Let’s be real, if you told Junkrat “We want you to blow some stuff up and we’ll pay you” he wouldn’t hesitate even for a moment.

That’s exactly my thought is as mercs. It’d be fun to see Talon-esq skins for the two of them.

Roadhog is not a Talon hero. He is just another villain, and appears in the gameplay trailers alongside other villains.

I don’t think Talon would want to recruit the Junker duo. They are too chaotic, and their goals don’t exactly align with Talon’s.

I agree for the most part. However, after the Junkertown plan failed, I can imagine at least Hog getting in on Merc work. Probably not Junkrat, but what if Hog finally had enough of Junkrat’s screw ups, and split off from him?

I don’t see why Talon would be interested in either Roadhog or Junkrat though. Roadhog has a physical disability (needing to “take breathers” ect.) and Junkrat is just straight up crazy. Sure, they know how to rob banks, but is that really enough for Talon?

Maybe they’ve come in contact with talon once or twice, but I don’t think either side would be very interested. Junk and Hog are loud and large, they’re going to be seen and Junk probably wants attention. Talon is more stealth, in and out, quiet and small.

They’re mercenaries so its likely talon would get them as ‘freelancers’.
