Why did this 1-shot spambot get bouncing arrows added to their kit lol? I mean seriously was his kit hurting somewhere that he actually needed bouncing storm arrows, to get kills when people are literally taking cover from his spam?

it was one of those random blizz buffs they do when no one asked for anything.
like when they gave cassidy the roll in the air
or when they added fade to moira ult in the season 4 patch.
like its just pointless random buffs.

idk about that, storm arrows is a 1-shot spam ability. I can’t even think of another 1-shot spam ability off the top of my head. Maybe genji ult… but that is literally an ult.

I played in the days of scatter, which was equally stupid. Hanzo apparently is this hero they want to give the lamest 1-shot abilities to. Then they add in bounce on top of the 1-shot spam. It literally makes 0% sense. Please someone tell me where Hanzo’s kit was lacking that he should get bouncing arrows to get kills on enemies literally taking cover from his 1-shot spam?

Yes I played with scatter which was just as dumb and unfair. Also, storm arrows didn’t start with bouncy… they added it later for no reason.

Also, in general, how often is a bouncing arrow hitting you that you think THAT’S the major problem of his kit. The storm arrow doesn’t insta kill you, and most of the time, people aren’t bouncing the storm arrow and hitting someone with it. Storm arrow is nice for breaking shields and turrets and finishing off low HP characters, it’s not very useful outside of that and spamming tanks, it’s more effective to headshot with regular shot on anyone else than it is to hope you hit multiple storm arrows, and if they are bounce shoting you with it, that’s pretty impressive.
The point is, it’s literally not a needed addition to his kit. Why was storm arrows added, then they added bounce later. It’s the logic of it. Makes no sense and is not something his kit needed.

And I probably am one of the few Hanzo Widow mains who hate playing it and wish they weren’t so headshotty strong.
I am just to good with them I am constantly forced to play them.
Could’ve sworn bounce has been in the game since storm arrow was added, and I’d take that over scatter any day. Again, if someone is killing you with a bouncing arrow consistently, I’d give them a round of applause because that’s impressive.

Nope, storm arrows replaced scatter. Storm arrows did not originally have bounce.
Then, at a later date, for no reason, they added bounce to storm arrows. Why was that needed?

Pretty sure that was only in PTR (back in the day) the main game always had the weird RNG bounce that always hit heads.
