Just curious. I know that Hack will stop Hanzo from activating the ability, but if the ability is already activated will Hack stop it?

No. Neither will fb, hook, charge, shieldbash etc.

The way the ability works is that it gives him special arrows for a limited time. So if he activates it the arrows don’t go away. It’s like how Orisa’s Fortify can’t be removed by Hack or Soldier’s Ultimate.

Should it? Probably.

It would be nice if it did, but it’s never really worked that way. She can’t even prevent him from using a Sonic Arrow if he nocked it before getting hacked.

It uses the same rules as sonic and scatter arrow. Once it’s toggled, it’s a “transformed” shot the same way as a dragonblade ult transforms Genji.

Should it? I don’t know hack counters a lot of things already. As a sombra player I wouldn’t even bother with it if I could. Not really a priority to hack Hanzo outside of a 1v1. Gotta get those anchor tanks and healers first.

Since Hack can make McCree temporarily forget how to do barrel rolls or how to throw flashbang grenades, Hack should make Hanzo temporarily forget how to climb walls along with doing his double Lunge jump thing and his ability to rapid fire arrows.

uhm, Hack has never cancelled transformations only channels, Hack never cancelled scatter either since you could select it before getting hacked and fire it anyways

That said, there isn’t much transformation skills on the game… actually, there is only one, Bastion sentry mode and he DOES gets cancelled, so I’m guessing the coding of the skill allows for some exceptions in which case I would agree that Hanzo should have Storm arrows cancelled but refunded on cooldown as soon as hack is over

Magic is just technology without explanation yet :wink:
