Does DVA require any skill?

I honestly think her simplicity is a strength but that is also why she is played so much AND such a danger on the field. But does she take any skill because she seems quite brain dead and these days that makes for a powerhouse hero.

See Winston ? The no-aim high-game sense hero ?
Well D.Va is similar, she’s a some-aim high-game sense hero.
EDIT: ignore this thread guys, it’s a troll.

Executing her dive burst combos consistently takes skill. As does self destruct launches. Also surviving in and outside of meka takes skill and awareness. Like most heroes in this game she is easy to pick up and play but achieving mastery is a completely different thing.

Look at it this way seagull sat out basically all of stage 2 because he was learning to play dva and tank. If she was so easy it would just be a simple switch like pros did with junkrat

Play her and find out.

The brain dead Dva was DM bot. As well as toggle on and off DM Dva.

All the other versions required game sense, positioning, knowing when to tank, when to attack, and when to retreat.

Dva has only easy win matchups against supports or snipers out of position. Everyone else especially if discord is cast on her can rip her a new one. You are the assist to your teammates not the primary threat go it alone say goodbye to your mech.

In short she takes skill or we’d all have Mercy’s her to Masters already

She takes skill, just not enough to justify the reward😂

I was going to mention him but he’s so bland him being brain dead was a given lol

What a dumb question. of course she does. Every hero takes some degree of skill.

Have you tried her out???

I mean skill to reward i suppose. its not really a dumb question seeing as the simpler the hero the more devastating they seem to be. We keeping low skill heroes who pay off big and i see her as the queen of the easy.

She takes skill.

I don’t like D.va tbh but it’s stupid to call her brain dead she is just to strong rn.

All heroes require skill to an extent (yes even Mercy); Though some have lower/higher skill floors/ceilings than others. Skill is more than just aim and frankly people thinking aim is the only thing that matters is how we get all these McCrees that hit consistently than run off on their own thinking they are a tracer and die.

Honestly an 8 year old could probably main a DVA she is THAT simple to play effectively.

Of all the tanks, I think only Zarya is tougher to play well. You’ve got the best ult-eater in the game for a shield, but it only lasts 2 seconds. You can pounce on someone, but then you aren’t with your team to block damage or get killed. Your ult can 1-shot almost everyone, but is easy to avoid, and leaves you vulnerable. She’s tough, cuz to play her well, you always need to be exactly where you need to be and have the right ability available to use.

This is not a HATE on DVA type of post. In fact i love that robot riding girl. I love her on my team and i love playing her,

Why would I hate on a video game character? I’m not young and stupid I’m old and grumpy.

Can we all agree on stop using this argument?
It’s annoying and people are basically calling everything by this now.

Instead of using this, explain WHY is so easy, or what make’s it easy.

At least she is not a aimbot.

Shes like one step shy with the whole charge and fire everything attacks lol
