Does Armor Stack with Nano Resistance?

I’m aware that damage resistance caps out at 50%, but armor is more of a fundamental mechanic, so I’m not sure if it stacks with Nano Boost Resistance?

They do, and I think it’s resistance first, then armor.

So Soldier hitting 20 damage bullet on nano’ed armor, becomes a bullet worth of 10 damage, which then gets -5 from armor.

That’s pretty scary with armor being good again. Dive would have no chance.

For those that don’t know, Fortify is also 50% damage reduction, and immune to all CC (Hack is a silence ability, but doesn’t cancel Fortify).

Dive already has no chance. The devs like D.Va dead.

I’m more saying why Orisa is so strong like someone else said. Imagine the damage reduction of Nano but on a CD, being on an armoured target. That’s Orisa. Plus Orisa can get the damage boost part with B*ngo. See how broken this starts to look.

I mained Orisa since launch, and never understood why they kept buffing her for years.

No, Damage boost from Mercy, as well as Matrix from Baptiste only boost the DPS of Orbs, but not how much damage it can do.
So it will deplete faster, but not damage more in total
