Definitely going to have new music. I imagined some of the current songs are going to be remixed or replaced and the campaign mode is going to have it’s own soundtrack.
You can even hear some of it in the blizzcon 2019 demo footage, though that’s probably just placeholder music for the most part.

I really hope that they will remake the music for older maps because imo i would find it quite boring if it’s just the same music and nothing new. Luke it won’t feel so fresh i guess.
And having remakes of the songs are good because even if it’s an old song, it will ofc keep the nostalgia but also add something new i guess to it.
Since adding new songs to older maps that we’re used to and know the old music feels a bit weird imo.

I really hope they go in a more active direction with the soundtrack, like a certain other co-op game that is defined by its phenomenal blending of music and gameplay. Ya know, a game that syncs the stealth, control, anticipation, and assault portions of the gameplay with its music.
It’ll probably be composed in such a way as to elicit emotional responses, same as this game.
