Doctor Zuul - Support Idea

I just wanted to share an idea I came up with for a character while I couldn’t sleep. Feel free to make any suggestions or edits to the idea.

Doctor Zuul - Support

Primary: Healing Gas Grenade
Throws a grenade that explodes on impact that heals a burst of health, then slowly heals over time for allies who remain in the gas.

Secondary: Toxic Gas Grenade
Throws a grenade that damages and slows on impact, then slowly hurts enemies who remain in the gas.

Shift: Illusory Decoys
Zuul drops a smoke grenade and summons 2 decoys that move erratically and share his HP, but die after losing 45 HP. The decoys release a cloud of smoke when killed.

E: Life Tether
Zuul throws a voodoo doll at the ground that explodes causing any enemies in the area to share a portion of damage taken.

Q: Death’s Door
Zuul channels a ritual that temporarily prevents allies inside the area from dying. Instead, allies who would have died accumulate negative health from all damage taken. At the end of the ritual, any ally whose health is below 0 will die.

When he kills enemy Ana, he 100% needs to say, “There is no Ana. Only Zuul.”

When Zuul saves an ally by eliminating the enemy attacking that ally and said ally survives at critical HP.

On topic:
Hero sounds good. About time we start thinking of an area denial Support with offensive capabilities. I would just make the following changes:

Toxic Grenade
The DoT stays on enemies for 3 seconds after leaving the AoE. It is consistent and ignores defensive measures but cannot benefit from damage boosting abilities. Only the initial impact/explosion.

Decoys
Make it one decoy and function like a Turret. On activation, you disappear and the decoy will act in your stead. At any time you can cancel the ability to return to the decoy’s location or you can fire Toxic Grenade to reappear to keep your attacker guessing. The decoy remains no matter what you decide to do until it is destroyed or the ability duration expires.

Voodo Doll
Rather than another grenade-like, make it like Discord Orb in the way it targets enemies. Zuul will hold the doll in his free hand, do a “hexing” animation and now the doll has the enemy essence. Choose additional targets and a resource bar starts draining. The more targets you acquire, the faster the resource drains.

Not a bad idea. I like the ult, too:

I like the idea of trying to get your health, at least, above zero before the ults over. I imagine you’d also instantly die if you stepped away from the ults radius, so heroes can do crazy things like charge through it to force an enemy out.

He should have lines for activating his ult as a response to other ults. Like if Mauga traps people and Zuul activates his ult while in the trap. Something menacing and creepy like “Your cage is a coffin, Mauga!”
