Do you still have faith in balancing?

Remember them overbuffing Genji?
Remember them overbuffing Roadhog?
Remember them overnerfing Orisa?
Remember them overnerfing Mei?

Does any of you guys still have faith in this balancing team?
Do you think OW2 will be properly balanced?

I don’t.

I was going to say the same. This is what it is going for OW2 as well. More nonse changes.

I never felt the overbuff tbh
Like he got buffed when shields were nerfed so like, his power level felt slightly increased, but his presence felt much threatening, but due to nerfing what stopped him

I lost faith when they released this patch with scatter 2.0 for Hanzo and mid-air roll for Cassidy. (Course I lost it back when the Patchimari patch broke the Switch version of the game and they still haven’t fixed it to this day, but obviously nobody gives a crap about that.)

No idea is ever a bad idea, just needs to be saved for later. Like scatter arrows. Huehuehue.

Faith is left.
I am just checking in occasionally.
And well, the draw me even more away.

Wait, they still haven’t fixed the switch version? Really???

Yep. Guess you assumed they did because we quit asking, but in all honesty, we just got tired of making the requests into an hourly/daily chore.

I lost all hope for Moira back in may, and now I’ve been absolutely baited back into the game with the fade buff, I just wonder how long it will remain in the game before they nerf it to the ground lol.

Yeah balance has been problematic

To be honest, yeah, I did.
I also expected them to fix it quickly.
It would be terrible and lazy to not fix it quickly.

Oh please I lost faith in their ability to balance after sym started seeing a small amount of play against double barrier and the devs nerfed her while people were complaining about lack of counters to the meta.

i still do…cause its not really a balance patch…think they were trying to bring some of the “fun” of the exc a couple of weeks ago to game…and i think its yet another example of why for as much as people want to make the game fun you dont balance the game that way…

theyre done for all intent and purpose as far as OW1 balance goes…they got it to a spot where they felt comfortable and they are on OW2…probably saw complaints about lack of patches and had someone handpick a few of the ones off the exc…

which is a big miss imo…but i dont think it changes anything about the game as far as balance

i expect OW2 to be no different from OW1…that is…in perpetual “balance is bad” state…cause thats how the entire history of OW1 has been…even during the “good” eras

Remember when they let release Sigma and Brigitte come to live servers?
Remember them nerfing Sym because her pickrate went up to 3% or so for a week during Double Shield?
Remember when they nerfed Doomfist for being the only playable DPS during Double Shield, then nerfed him again when he was already being phased out?
Remember when they had a patch that was praised as being the best the game had been in years, then decided to ruin it?
Remember when they let moth Mercy come to live servers?

That was probably one of the most boneheaded balance changes ever.

i think balancing is fine personally. itll never be perfect. youll be better off learning to adapt to changing metas and learning to get good (4head)

I lost my faith in late 2020.

The balance/hero design team needs new leadership.

They do good things

They just also do bad things

not really but i dont play this game for complete balance. the most thing im upset about is no content and recycled stuff. i want more heroes but of course that may be an unpopular opinion to some

I lost faith way before this and now officially thinking OW2 balance is going to be even more of a dumpster fire.
