I think now that Microsoft has taken over, it will have the ability to grow and flourish to what the player base wants. So yeah, I can see it reaching that mark.

Yeah. 2 months. Just cos they take over in 2024 doesn’t mean the Overwatch team doesn’t have plans for what to do once they’re under Microsoft. They already said they are reworking the battlepass in 2024 which is an example of this. Bobby can’t say no cos they said it will be in 2024.
In summary, plans for the future don’t need to come into action right away.
Yeah, in answering their question about reaching 2025. Microsoft taken over in 2024 with give them a whole year to improve the game
Actually immediately following the sale i bet they where given back free reign with little oversight.
If my man Phil is true to his word and he lets Blizzard be Blizzard, buckle up boys, good times may be coming after all.

Plus either two thing will happen.
Either there will be more mass layoffs (which we should hear about by April)
Or
Project Odessey will be cancelled. (Honestly don’t know how it’s doing anyway… likely still barely alive. Still likely sucking up alot of resources.)
Like already during blizzcon they where revealing alot that if activision was up their butt about they would of had to go radio silent on.
PR is still just PR.

For better or worse (some game companies it is worse) Microsoft is known to take a hands off approach.
…Honestly after how Bethsaida/Microsoft pushed out “Starfield”… I’m not so sure.
Though we will have to see if actual improvements are coming to that game… (so far doesn’t seem so.)
Nope wrong it was the game company that pushed it out Microsoft was hands off.

Question is, WHAT does the player base want.
It is well known that the player base (Among DPS players, Tank Players and Support Players)
all have different wants and sometimes directly contradict one another
Right now they have been “trying” to balance that out, and look where its got us
Surviving yes, flourishing? Up to Microsoft. If things stay the way they are then the game will remain what it currently is: a broken mess irrelevant in the larger scope of gaming that’s slowly losing players.
Hard to say. Hopefully it survives.
Honestly i wished they made Overwatch animation. Might bring more people. I wished they improve matchmaking. If anything it will push people away.

“trying” literally was erasing Support Sym from existence.
If anything they were more making the game more like Call of Duty, then OW.
The vision of OW had was lost. (still is)
Give me an Arcane type show and i would be so happy, dont even have to touch this dogcrap game, they are WASTING this IP not doing more with it.
