No, you don’t have time to react before you die. I hate playing support or DPS because even a character like roadhog dies too fast. Damage needs to be cut in like half or tanks needs 2-3 times as much hp as they currently have.
And certainly no they won’t. Hanzo’s storm arrows only do 300 dmg total and take several seconds to come out. You need headshots to burst him down and that’s a rare. Not even including the fact you can take a breather through the damage to mitigate it and turn your butt to Hanzo to avoid him doing headshots. Congratulations, you have survived many seconds against Hanzo to get to a corner.
I like FPS games with high TTK (or a varying degree as a per gun)
Overwatch on the other hand I would like a lower TTK
I just went into the practice range, I kill the roadhog with one use of storm arrows. So, no.
And no, it’s not hard to hit headshots on roadhog.

I can adapt. But just saying the TTK right now is vvvvvvvvvvvery meh.
Do you even play this game? You can shoot roadhog in the head very easily even from behind.

First thought you where crazy… Then saw you compared ttk from cod, which is basically a ohk with every gun it feels…

Unmissable 3shot spam from any heavy gun?

But low ttk abilities are also some of my favorites like tracer (one clip), widow & hanzo hs
Not really longer than it currently is, as it makes me a bit less likely to play them. But most have combos for low ttk (junk, genji, hog, boops, etc.)
Like in cod mccree hs would most likely be dealing around 200dmg for a ohk on the head…
I like that in ow you actually fight and its not just who saw the other first. (which is still present but only in some duels (like sniper duels))

I mean, I prefer “medium ttk”. Or I guess “more than Apex” ttk.
However I prefer significantly less teamfight duration than DoubleBarrier, or something like Mei/Reaper Rush.
Well, unless you can produce some minute long gameplay where you or someone else is nailing like every single headshot with greater than like 10% accuracy on a moving target its a load of bollocks to me. And you have very unrealistic expectations in the amount of damage many people get out of these characters.
Especially with smart play such as breathing other units moves and turning around to minimize the size of the headshots space.
Moving target =/= Roadhog.
You’ll hit roadhog with a headshot just by aiming in his heads general proximity pretty much. You can even just hit his hair and you’ll head shot him from behind. His heads hitbox is absurdly big.
Which is unimportant and what matters more is the accuracy. The total averaged damage a person is outputting. Not peak DPS for walking in a straight line or standing still. Which is the whole point to all of this. You’ll get to cover as roadhog against most any character in the game with health and breather usage.
You’ll die when facing an uphill fight against multiple people which is how many people feel it should be.
No, it’s not unimportant at all.
You’ll die too fast in a team fight no matter what when you get focused. If it’s 3v3, you’ll still die too fast when they decide to focus you. If it’s 6v6, you die way too fast when people decide to focus you. You die too fast even in 1v1, it gets much worse in team fights.
The game needs to allow people to actually react before they die.

If you can get 3 people to focus fire you I call that pretty damn good team work to be rewarded. Many people will be like I can’t hardly even get 2 people to shoot the same target unless its the only thing they freakin’ see which is another issue. Giving people only one thing to shoot at and nothing else. That’s a team coordination problem.
If your a tank, you pretty much need a minimum of 2 people to really destroy you before you get to cover. Roadhog is a special case where his thing is if he’s in a 3v1, he wants to kill 1 to bring it to a 2v1.
“If”? That happens constantly when I play tank. I’ve pretty much peeked around the corner with reinhardt and had my shield go down in less time than I had to get back and then I died just before I made it back around the corner. The damage output is absurd.
I’ve gone from 100% to dead on zarya before I could react even while shielding myself, they broke my shield and killed me instantly.
Meanwhile, my team is busy trying to flank instead of just busting the tanks while our tanks are being busted constantly.
Even double shield doesn’t protect you from the current damage output, even 2 shields melt instantly and you die.
I think TTK is fine for most heroes but I’m not a fan of heroes like Hanzo and Echo (and to a lesser extent, McCree) being able to dump all their damage abilities into a tank to do insane burst damage.
Lower TTK. But not too low. I don’t want 76 one tapping people with a headshot.
I prefer more consistent TTK’s to the Overwatch model, where one shots exist alongside those who require multiple clips.
