No, it potray’s the game one way when the game truly is another way when you play it yourself. No matter your rank you can agree to this.

Ikr, whenever I go to watch it it’s like 2 am and I am tired so I fall asleep.

I like it, but it is clear that there is still much to learn about how best to do the camera work in game.

No. I never cared for e-sports and never really saw it as a “sport”. Also the way they push it makes me feel like they are trying to force it on use.

OWL coins for some re-color skins that aren’t that good. Some type of emotes for twitch (which cost real money by using buts), and so on.

Just doesn’t hit well with me, and never will.

Also, in comp you get those people who need the meta that those OWL players are using or they will throw the game or report you. Ive seen them, and they are not pleasent to play with.

Yeah I felt a bit concerned that you need to spend money for emotes and stuff. It’s like if they were trying to manipulate us to cheer just to get what we want.

That’s the main reason I don’t watch is as much as I would.

In a way i find the OWL coins a bribe to watch the games. Lots of people just watch the games for the coins to buy the skins. When they get the coins for all the skins they want they’ll probably leave. Others just like to watch it, and want to support it until the end.

I’m in the group that doesn’t care either way. If Owl succeeds good for it, but if it fails doesn’t affect me in any way. Also, I haven’t even used my free coins I got when they released them. Just don’t see a reason to.

Same feeling here, I spent the tokens in Tracer and Mercy Seoul skins, not to support them but because I like those skins more and they seem to look good with golden weapons.

No. eSports go against the very nature of video games. The ow league in particular is one of the worst offenders as it goes even farther to try and make it seem like conventional sports instead of more like a game anyone can be involved with if they are able.

It doesn’t help that Overwatch is not great to watch.

Nope. If I’m going to watch someone else play a game, it needs to be an individual streamer that I enjoy watching, someone who engages with the audience. And I don’t like watching sports anyway.

I don’t dislike or like it, just disinterested from it. Still think the game needed more improvements before something like the league, but what ever makes blizzard and esports fans happy.

I in general hate watching sports. It’s more fun to do than to watch someone. It’s nice to watch a cool clip here and there, otherwise I can be doing something else.

Yes! :+1:
I mean
Overwatch is currently THE GAME for me, I play the most with this and I love it. And seeing literal pros who are actually good in the game and obviously waaay better than me trying to best each other is really entertaining to watch. I was skeptical about it first, but maybe because my friends like watching this too, it’s pretty awesome to talk with each other after the matches, like how did a team and player did.

No! :-1:
As a person coming from Europe, watching this is actual pain. I miss most of the matches, because I have to go to work in the morning, I can’t stay up until like 4-5 in the morning.

I don’t have a very strong opinion on OWL. It’s nice that people are interested in it. I’d like to watch a broadcast, but they’re always on when I’m at work.
