The Raid Boss effect.

Dps have been left unchecked.

Supports have been brought up with ridiculous sustain and utility to compete.

Now its the tank’s turn.

We have come full circle from this neverending cycle of power creep.

Now is the time for Titans to emerge.

If the devs do not start nerfing things appropriately, the tank roster will get buffed to compete on Mauga levels of power.

Flat nerfing Mauga will drop him harder than Hog when he lost his one shot.

There is no other path!

technically the idea of the raid boss already exists.

if you watch any of the clips of someone being sustained through something they shouldnt of survived (with just healing usually), the average response is “should of killed the supports first”.

they are advocating for boss mechanic’s in pvp, even though they dont realize it yet.

if i have to kill A and B before i can kill XY or Z, then its functionally an rpg boss.

imagine if tomorrow they took out tracers recall but added a new passive for her that makes it so that if her supports are alive she takes 0 dmg and has reduced CD on her blinks.

this would cause a massive outrage…but functionally this is what already exists in game (except the cd reduction).

you have to kill someone so fast the supports cant react because as soon as they do you have to give up on killing that target.

God I wish more dps flanked more.

Would make a lot of my matches more tolerable.

But flanking is just almost nonexistent at this point with how good support is at handling the basic flankers or even just dive tanks in general…

“Oh you just want supports to be easy kills!”

Bro! Supports are solo dueling TANKS now! That used to be a dps’s job!

Mauga is our only hitscan option.

No we have Blizzard ACTUALLY BALANCE THEIR GAME INSTEAD OF RUINING IT AGAIN. I know you can’t play anything other than babymode heroes like them but get serious.

All dps have gotten nerfs coming in to OW2, so dunno what you are on about. No it’s not “1 less tank” you are still free to play counter tanks. Supports are a lot more deadly and have a lot more room to counter dps on top of higher healing output.

Tanks are fine, mauge is only good in low ranks, per usual. Low ranks can not handle things when the skill floor and ceiling are low, those heroes simply become to effective🤷‍♂️

The signs are there! All from history and past events!

The trend of buffing heros rather than nerfing them.

The other two roles becoming increasingly selfish and self sufficient with less and less emphasis on teamwork.

The one role that always has and had to sacrifice everything was tanks.

We gave up our partnering offtanks, we have to play counterswapwatch every match, we have to face off against an endless list of counters and problematic abilities!

No more my brother!

Coming this S9 when burst dps and burst healing get addressed we will see the coming of the true Raid Bosses!

We will become TITANS!

I get the feeling you don’t like self sufficient tanks. Sorry not every tank is a shield tank hun. But believe it or not every role needs more than 1 playstyle.

Dps have like… 6

And support is 1 hero away from having 4

Tanks have 2 Shield and meat

7 out of the 12 in the rister are brawlers…

4 are dive with 2 of them having a sub playstyle into Brawl.

Then 1 single pure poke tank.

I was making a point of sustain to him, tanks either shield or heal/resist damage.

Dude calls the tanks that the only reason they are tanky is they heal baby heros.

Like yeah because 700hp lasts SOOO long without a shield/heals XD

You’d be surprise what I can survive with the right level of skill, control, and team support.

I’m i still not making sense? He has mobility and temp health (Resistance) what I’m saying is removing heal from hog (or in this case the adaptive shield or mobility from Hammond) would hurt them a lot more than he thinks.
We can’t go nerfing characters like hog just because he thinks they are baby characters. Can’t just give hog a shield and call it a day you know?

That would be like saying “Hammond is too mobile. Remove grapple and give him a Winston bubble”

700 hp is good if you can run around but if you’re a wobble hog 700 hp isn’t much.

Im okay with raid bosses if Mauga drops me a Vex Mythoclast
