Heroes mobility isn’t the soul reason for some heroes being 225 hp. Genji is an example of this. He needs to be in the enemies face to do his job. Most other heroes With 225 hp are effective at range. With 225 hp, genji would need either more mobility for survivability, maybe a second charge on his dash, longer deflect, or cut his deflect cd in half. OR he’d need to be able to deal more damage at range, so his secondary fire (spread shurikens) would need tightening A LOT.

  1. Moira is a low skill hero. Her being weak is fine.
  2. This whole “well X hero got bad treatment, so why should Y be ok?” is contradicting, at least in this context. If you ruin something for someone, dont ruin it for others.

This I agree with, and should be looked for Genji and many other characters.

  • As for why he doesnt have 225hp?

My guess is they dont wanna adjust his damage, or maybe thought that he dies too often usig their data so he can be left as is.
I actually agree Genji should be 225hp, but like every other 225hp character, give him some compensation.

1 damage buff and 2 more shots for -25hp is a net nerf overall.

Trust me, you don’t want to go down that road. When Blizzard nerfs a character to 225, the character remains in the dumpster for a year. They’ll trickle minor buffs to you over the course of several seasons. It will take a year to get back to a functional power level.

I think he should have damage break as he had before s9 if we wanted to nerf his hp, and actually I don’t want to face that monster again.
I don’t have a problem with projectile heroes to hit him compared to other characters.

this is largely because those heroes have actual good mobility, while genji’s mobility is a part of his dmg combo.

imagine if tracer had to blink into you to consistently deal dmg and kill targets.

calling genji a mobility hero is half true since he has things like wall climb or double jump but none of these things make him harder to hit.

when im playing tracer i can sit at 175hp and dodge most attacks because im intentionally using my blinks to make it so only the person im shooting at has any potential LoS on me.

but if i picked genji im basically just poking at range then dashing onto someone to finish them off.

of all the heroes to complain about on the forums in 2025, genji is by far the weirdest one.

“needing to aim” implies more then putting the crosshair within 3 inches of the target.

her beam might not be literally auto aim, but it has the largest ‘hitbox’ of any ranged beam in the game.

people joked about hanzo shooting logs waaaay back in 2016, moira’s beam is like holding up a giant sequoia (the entire tree) at your enemy.
