LITERALLY…EVERY. SINGLE. PLAYER. IN. THE. GAME. is complaining about matchmaking… WHERE ARE THE DEVS??? Y’all bragged about being able to push patches out on the fly when needed. DO IT. Y’all push out dev blogs that just say what’s going on with matchmaking right now… Great… whatever… FIX IT!!! Like… Seriously? They were on the right path and then BOOM!!! S3 hit. S2 was an iffy matchmaking and terrible balance. S3 is really good balance with NO. MATCHMAKING. UPGRADES. Y’all went from 7 tiers apart, to 12, to 9. I SHOULD NOT HAVE PLAT PLAYERS IN MY GM GAMES!!! Like… what is this?

Are y’all going to wake up at any point in this lifetime and actually CARE about your players? Hello? Is this ok? For the devs to just be this clueless? Are the devs so tired of being bronze that they screw with the matchmaking to boost themselves up? Like? Is there anyone home? What other game has devs that BLATANTLY ignore them and BLATANTLY and ACTIVELY try to make their game WORSE for the playerbase?

Congrats Devs… Y’all achieved your goal. Y’all have literally ruined my experience in this spectacular game. I’m done with overwatch. Games uninstalled and every registry item containing overwatch anything has been removed.

To the players! It’s been fun. We’ve had out ups and downs… but Overwatch united us for the love of the game. GGz my dudes and dudettes!

Ah least one of them has to care. But I doubt the majority, or at least the majority of the ones in charge, care anymore. Remember, when / if the Microsoft / Activision acquisition is approved and goes through, a lot of the development team, especially the ones in charge, will likely be replaced.

I mean, MS has their own matchmaker, and Blizzard could start using that.

Sure, but the matchmaker is hardly the only issue with the game. The balance is awful and needs people who know what they’re doing to come in and fix it. MS probably already knows that, so a good chunk of the developers will likely be on their way out when the deal is finally approved.

Check Aaron Keller twitter (the game director of OW2). He said this morning they’re working on matchmaking and the changes will be live soon. He also said there were misconfigurations on the matchmaker, therefore the issues we face.
