I was gonna see if this question was asked yet. I’m glad that someone has asked. I want to believe that they care about this game but as we go into Season 7, I’m not all that excited about it.
My main heroes have basically all been neglected in recent patches. And the devs back peddling of CC removal in the game have not been forgiving. Balance in this game is almost nonexistent as it’s very clear that in certain patches they cater to specific heroes.
I’m really hope the Microsoft acquisition will do good things for this game. I want this game to be fun again.

Sure, OW2 is a blatant insult to the original product, but this quality has infected pretty much every major FPS game of this era. Its even seeping into other genres sadly.
Their target audience is kids and people with FOMO syndrome. Kids don’t care to spend money they don’t earn and people with FOMO syndrome have to have the pretty skins so they can at least look good while they’re getting steamrolled by the MM screwing them over.
The new generation of AAA gaming is a sham.
