No hero should rely on team to be playable. Reduce his cone, increase damage. So annoying to be useless if team can’t support you. Widow doesn’t suffer from same thing for some reason

And this is a teambased game anyways (but not that many people think this at all). So yes every hero should rely team to be ‘‘playable’’ imo. Or maybe youre playing him wrong after all or something.
And actually widow does suffer from the same thing cause yet again, this is teambased game.

Also, welcome to team game, we should have most of heroes that need teamwork to be usefull and less solo carry heroes.
Too bad that dive enabling support that boosted his damage output was dragged kicking and screaming out of the meta. Have fun using dive heroes without her
Game changing ultimate that he can utilize solo in 99% situations. Such a team dependant hero, not like he has 100% pickrate or something
Moreso, I feel no tank should need to rely on their team as much as he does. Most tanks can go in and take charge on their own, even if they are one tank in a team. Winston, cannot usually do this. Winston was only good in Dive because of having another tank with him.
Also, he is the one tank that cannot gain shields or health by himself aside Reinhardt. D.Va even has a baby form for another life, giving her another chance.
They say Winston takes a certain “precaution” or a “gameplay style” to use but as a tank, he really shouldn’t. He is a tank and needs to be on the frontlines. I can take a Winston down with ease, especially by himself. He has a shield that is more flimsy than Orisa’s half shield whom also has a much shorter cooldown. His gun barley does damage imo
I dunno, he needs something I feel. Maybe I am wrong?
He has that pick rate because he work with team well?
Also, his ult dont kill everyone, and he alone cant do 6 kills, what are you plaing

You realy dont get that hero
His ult dont guarante even kills, he still can be stoped from killing, and he dont have enaught range atacks for most of this kills to do himself. And for example, if he hit even 5 people, and last one would be lucio/brig/orisa/phara/junkrat he can litteraly do nothing with it because of cc pushing him away, or simply by killing him.
Also you can block it with winston even. People seem to forget that part
And without healing or long range help, he is realy easy to kill.
You know widow needs a ton of support lol.
