Do pros use high sensitivity?

Do pros use a really high sensitivity? does anyone know some numbers?

Some do, some don’t. Google overwatch pro settings. Click on website on-winning

But just because a pro uses high sensitivity doesn’t mean you should. Use the psa method to find the right sensitivity for you.

Most pros use really low sens, Geguri i think used high sens, which is amazing considering she plays Zarya. I’m sure there’s a few more with high sens.

All pro settings are available to look at and they vary widely.

What sensitivity the pros use doesn’t matter.

It’s about what sensitivity you’re comfortable with - that won’t be hindered by your mouse space or your aim technique.

Some pros have high sensitivity, some low. No 2 pro players have the same sensitivity - that’s because there isn’t a perfect one. It’s all personal preference.

In theory, lower sensitivities make you more accurate, but require large mouse spaces and an arm aiming style.

Higher sensitivities make it easier to do quick 180 degree turns, but can make aiming on unpredictable targets harder, and requires a wrist aiming style.

I aim with my wrist, but use my arm for very upclose tracking or long flicks.

Don’t copy pro settings. It won’t make you magically top 500

Fot what I can gather, most use settings considered low for the average player.

They’re not human though, don’t mind that.

Most use low sens high dpi

Geguri is a notable exception

to generalize it for u.
tanks- high mostly.
supports- depends on hero but prob mid
dps- low (some people have high for tracer, easy 180 blinks)

haksal uses a really high sens, but I can’t think of it off the top of my head

Sinatraa uses 8 in game and 800 dpi.

The way you are saying it gives me the impression you think 8 sens with 800 dpi is low.

it’s not, I use 8 sens with 8 dpi cause i have a small mousepad

Shadowburn uses a high sensitivity from some interview I saw.

As far as ive heard its the case of; get as low of a sensitivity so you can micromanage, but you still have to be able to move freely (be able to do a 360) or smth. In general tho u should just feel what feels comfortable

wow that is really slow

From what I’ve seen they all have different sensitivities. (Along with different hardware)

I’ve seen some use relatively low sensitivities, and then I’ve seen a GM+ Genji main (way back) who used an absurdly high sensitivity that watching him play was like “how”

Ignore everyone telling you not to use pro settings.

You should absolutely use pro settings. When you realize that one isn’t working work out why and try a different pro’s settings.

I personally use Shroud’s and it works great for me. The control it gives me is like nothing I’d ever used before.

lol meant to say 800 dpi
8 dpi would be painful.

Depends on the way you use your mouse.

Pine plays 7500 I think but most are averaging around 4k I think.
