It will crash your games then it will crash your PC! It was so bad, I had to uninstall the AMD Adrenaline software for my PC. Its working fine now.
Actually I got a huge performance boost after installing 24.12.1. I also enabled Above 4G Decoding
in my bios and set Re-Size BAR Support
to Auto
and the game no longer stutters at 50-90 fps after getting into the first game after launch.
I’ve seen previous AMD threads complain about some sort of shader cache issue which isn’t experienced on NVIDA cards, and to “load up the practice range until your fps stabilize” but after enabling these BIOS settings, I no longer experience the issue.

I just recently found out that my Radeon Vega 56 is no longer supported by software and the 24.12.1. is not compatible! Just my luck…

Im been eyeing these Radeon RX 7600’s types. I think thats the one Im going for when the dough rolls in. For some reason, I thought I got my Vega 56 in 2019, but it looks like I got it earlier than I previously thought
