Don’t know if we know all the details yet but if so that kinda blows. I was hoping they would have past battle pasS stuff but keep the new stuff out it them for a few seasons kinda like mythics.
No they also contain old challenge items that have been locked for years. No battle pass items though.

You get duplicates, and from the duplicates you get bonus lootboxes lol

By all items you mean all the cosmetics from previous seasons? Including previous shop skins and BP skins?

No battlepass, Overwatch League, crossover stuff, and maybe no Blizzcon stuff I don’t think
Anything else in the shop or hero gallery is fair game

All items available in the boxes. I think it works per rarity, so if you own all the epic items and then roll an epic item in a box, it’ll be a duplicate.
I don’t know if it does say it anywhere, but that is how it works.
You get duplicates, and once you get enough duplicates they give you a bonus box. There’s an invisible meter. I know because I’m in a server with someone who owns all the items lol

It says it in the patch notes. Also what did you think was going to happen when you have all the common and uncommon items? There is nothing else to get other than duplicates. It is nice that it gives progress towards more boxes to get more epics and legendary items.

They build towards another loot box, to effectively stall for the next wave of shop skins to be available to pick through. But it’s a slow process so don’t over grind.

So there are no duplicates, from what the devs mentioned.
So if you really just run out of things to pull from in a given category that’s kind of it till the pool refreshes.
Be it I don’t think that’s a bad thing, or really away to get around that without just giving coins to buy things before they release. Which achieves the same thing.
