Do I supposed to do a lot of damage as Kiriko?

I got some mean comment from my team that I suck as Kiriko because I doing only 2500 damage.

But I have 14000 Healing, So I have to do more damage and less heal playing as Kiriko?

She does more damage then you’d think. Healing should be top priorty, but she can hit quite hard.

Don’t beat yourself on it though. if your healing, your doing your job. We aren’t sure yet if she is an off heal yet. Zen for example is a healer but he is very offensive too.

is funny that they think to know a hero that has been out just for 4 days, very ironic and stupid to say the least, btw your doing good, is dps job to do damage and sure as hell none of the 2 of yours were doing enough with a healing like that :face_exhaling:

I’d ignore them. Personally I haven’t been called out for playing her and you’re doing more damage than me in general. I do damage when I can, meaning when I don’t need to be healing my teammates. I mean what’s an appropriate level of damage for her? She’s still super new and you can’t play her in comp yet so everyone is figuring her out. If you’re killing people and keeping your team alive I don’t see what the problem is. I do try for headshots though over just pumping damage since there’s a big difference in how much pain you inflict versus a body shot and notice it tends to result in more kills. That’s assuming I can actually land said head shots, I’m definitely not a pro or super competitive.

Let’s put it this way. The other day I was trying out competetive open queue. My team consisted of 4 dps, and I was the only healer, trying desperately to help my team to survive.
I tell the lowest performing dps to stop trying to outsnipe the enemy widow because I’ve watched that widow kill them 5 times in a row. Their response to me was ”You’ve only got 600damage” and ”That means you’re bad.”

Some people are simply stupid and do not know how to play, and not only that, they completely refuse to accept that not everyone is supposed to play the same way.

A good quote here would be ”Do not judge a fish by it’s ability to climb a tree.” Just because you’re not doing a good job by some stranger’s standards doesn’t mean you’re not doing a good job at what you’re supposed to be doing.
