i haven’t really ever used a physical copy of a game and i just wanted to know if buying a physical copy of overwatch for the pc would mean i have to download the whole game or just some of it?
When you buy a physical copy of Overwatch for PC you will find a license code somewhere on the CD sleeve of the package contents. you can redeem a code directly in the BattleNet app launcher which you can download here if needed:

Once the code is redeemed you should see a blue install button on the Overwatch game page of the BattleNet app launcher. Click it to download and install the game. Both the BattleNet app launcher and the Overwatch game client have had significant updates since the most recent release of a physical version of Overwatch. Because of this I actually recommend doing the full download directly from the BattleNet app launcher and instead of using the DVD-ROM.
