Stylosa just made a 37 minute rant video about PvE monetization:

Honestly most of the top CC’s I’ve seen recently have been extremely upset and calling them out nonstop.

As mentioned above, Stylosa has been fairly critical of Blizzard and OW2 for at least a year now.

Other CCs have switched since the PvE announcement from last month.

They almost exclusively talk negatively about the game because that’s what gets them views. It’s the same reason news stations broadcast negative stories wayyy more often than positive ones. Dirty laundry sells. It doesn’t mean they’re right, though.

When they are positive they are called shills.

When they are negative they are called clickbaiters.

Just be honest and say you’re jealous you can’t aim like them because you want to be a CC yourself and move on.

To be fair, they could act as both depending on what they think gets them the most views at that time.

Don’t need to.

Microsoft buying Blizzard will do that for us.

And there’s only about 2-to-10 more weeks before that happens.

Seagull going ham there-love it lol

News flash; they’ve tried, and failed.

There have multiple counts of creators trying to give them feedback and they “express interest” in it but never do it

Not only does it not mean they are right, it doesn’t even mean that it’s actually their opinion, lol.

If I wanted to pander to little children, I’d absolutely make videos talking about how horrible the PvE monetization is, even though I really don’t think it’s that bad, lol.

I don’t think anyone that is a CC really enjoys their job though, lol. They just can’t do anything else.

Lol I’m GM1 on every role and in OQ, my dude. Way higher than most CCs. I just don’t play this game for people to watch me.

It’s just a fact that the most popular streamers are known for their negativity. They’re the ones generating clickbait articles, so theirs are the names that get out there.

It’s easy to find videos upon videos of them calling out Blizzard.

The thing is Blizzard probably doesn’t give too much of a damn. The same streamers that call them out are the same ones that continue to make OW content. Even when they stop making OW content they are still talking about it. If anything… in a weird way it is probably causing a Streisand effect amongst new players who want to see if it’s as bad as everyone says it is.

They do, but sometimes it’s hard to tell how genuine it is. Some creators seem to just stick their finger in the wind and go with it.

Especially because outrage is a good way to get views. Their videos on PvE monetization have more views than their everyday OW videos.

Youroverwatch still thinks this game is great.

Nah but even he’s been making videos about the failed PVE and blizzards lies so CCs for sure call blizzard out if it’s genuine though who knows

But this time, they are right for being negative. Especially Stylosa. He’s always been critical since OW2’s release and rightfully so.

Ah yes a multi million dollar company bought by a multi billion dollar megacorp, surely that will solve all of overwatch’s problems, instead of it becoming even more egregiously greedy, and abusive.

Stylosa and Ian were criticizing blizzard since before OW2’s release. I only trust them now. 99% of content creators were on a huge shilling spree and only stopped when people started fleeing OW2 in droves and it wasn’t the long term success they thought it would be.

Dude is a
Was Subbed to him for years but OW2 made me lose all respect for the guy.
