Trying to finish my placements here for dmg role. I’m on ps4, europe, plat rank. I waited over 13 minutes for my last game. I hope it was just a one off… It hasn’t usually been this bad. Considering I am at the rank (2500ish and slightly over) that should be the most highly populated… That is a lot of time for waiting for a game.
Otherwise been mostly enjoying 2-2-2

I’ve played 20+ games as healer or tank, usually no more than a minute or two of waiting. I’ve played 6 games as dmg on another account (same rank) and it was mostly 2-4 minutes wait per game. On the account I am playing today, the first 2 games i had to wait for about 6 minutes each. The 3rd game was over 13 minutes. I took screenshots and all. Now I’m waiting for my 4th game, 5 min and counting.
Last game started right before 6 min.
Now queueing up for the 5th game, estimated queue time was under 6 minutes, I’m now at 6 minutes and counting.
Wonder why it takes this long… I would think people would be playing on saturday night.

Took nearly 11 minutes to find that one. Got placed 2550.
I am now queueing up for another game, 12 minutes and counting even tho the estimated time was under 6 minutes.
I have been very much in favor of 2–2-2 but this is actually really frustrating.

Also, maybe people aren’t playing, because it’s the weekend, and they can do something FUN, like go out and enjoy life! LOL.
I’ll take it that the first chapter was sarcasm. Not sure about the second one lol.
Am now at 18 minutes and counting. Thank god for mobile phones. Takes the edge off nicely. Maybe I should watch the 6 last seasons of game of thrones while I’m at it.
You do realize if the queue is really that long, it speaks volumes regarding why 2-2-2 was needed.
The game sucks with no tanks and supports fellas, it just does.
I am a tank main. Most seasons I play tank 8 out of 10 games. But I do enjoy doing some damage also. Funnily enough, my damage stats have been by far the highest on role queue, other roles’ sr fell a little and damage’s went up. Maybe I should become a dps main.
Btw, I am now at over 24 minutes. This can’t be right tho…
Maybe if you didn’t complain so much you’d make a friend that tanks or heals and you’d get 30 Sec Queues

The question that must be asked is in the most populated ranks of this game. How much larger is the DPS queue than the others.
Given the pre 2-2-2 words tendency to roll games with 3+ dps in them…
Chipsa had a 54 minute queue, followed by a 5 minutes match, followed by another 20 minutes queue. Game is alive btw
Finally got into a game after 25 minutes of queueing. Crazy. Got screenshots, obviously. It’s funny because I’m no Chipsa, just your average plat.
Btw, when I got into the game, the other dps on our team was either trolling or the worst dps I have ever seen. Went 4 rounds in Horizon but ended up winning. It was basically 5 vs 6 the whole time.
I don’t know what was up with the queue tho… Have to see again tomorrow, because this queue was on the verge of ridiculous

Yeah. These Qs are nuts. Ive even gotten 15 to 20 mins, on Support, if its too late at night or early in the morning.
If it goes over 20, i just cancel the search, try a different role, or turn off the game. Im not waiting almost a half hour for a match, screw that.
I waited 7 mins for a game as DPS and it was all fine at first but then our tanks decided to throw the game and our main healer decided to stay afk in spawn. That’s one of the very few occasions I had a bad game with the new role queue though.
If there were more people willing to play support/tank you wouldn’t be waiting so long 
I queue for every role so my queues are very short.
If they didn’t made tank and support frustrating to play in the first place.
If we haven’t half of the hero roster made by DPS.
Sadly, DPS que will be even longer after people realize how bad it is to solo Q as tank/support
I am a tank main. Out of every 10 hours of playing I play tanks for about 8 hours. I also play healer, been getting even more into that lately.
But I do also enjoy me some Junkrat or Bastion, and when I feel like playing dmg I wont be ticking the other roles because you know you will never be playing damage that way.
And for what it’s Worth, I really do enjoy playing tank and support. And solo queueing as either is fine with me. It’s not about that.
Just, sometimes it’s nice to be able to do damage. That’s all
