Every single game this season diving Widow has never worked. Not once has diving Widow actually worked. Never, not once. Not on my team or on the enemy team, I have never once seen diving Widow actually work in game, not once.

One thing I’m curious about though is exactly how many times diving Widow has not worked for you.

Might come as a surprise, but not once.
Now, give us a solid argument and not just repeat the same sentence in different variations?
I know that diving Widow is cancer because she can sit in the other side of the map and re-position herself before anyone can reach her, but still.
For dive tanks, it’s so hard to even touch Widow since they have to get through the entire enemy team.

I’m not trying to give an argument, I’m just stating I’ve never seen it work.
Technically genji / tracer / sombra are good but honestly their not reliable counters at all
I’d add Licio and Wrecking Ball in there too… very effective against a Widow.
I mean lucio does nothing special to kill her
And hammond can work but if shes in a place with a roof then piledrive.is useless
What hero are you diving her with? I’ve successfully dove Widowmaker hundreds of times.
You can’t Dive a Widow alone because she can grapple out. Its best to Dive her with teammates, and take her out before she can escape.
You also have to take healing into consideration because sometimes Widow’s are pocketed.
His hitbox is flimsy, he can speed boost, and his primary fire is especially effective against stationary targets.

Hammond makes widow and genji cry. My fav new hero.
Roll and push her off her camp spot. Piledrive when you can. Keep chasing until she dies as you got much more mobility.
Winston and D.va, I’m not diving alone is the craziest part usually 2-4 people on her at one time.
Send a flanker like Genji, Sombra, Tracer etc to disturb her. When she grapples away from them that’s when you dive her as Winston/Dva/Hammond. Be smart about your dives. If she has her grapple up still you’re unlikely to kill her with a dive.

As a D.Va main, how can you not dive Widow? I do it all the time. I don’t understand. Is she killing you or is she grappling away?

I have tried to play Widow. If people leave me alone i can actually get kills and not be terrible.
If they have a Dva in my face or a genji all over me or whatever, it’s pretty miserable and I’m not good enough to defend myself.
You don’t necessarily have to kill the Widow either just make it really suck to play her.
I have played against Widows that seemed a bit too good for gold that couldn’t be pushed solo. It felt like the only way to stay alive was to stay behind cover. Then they switch to Tracer and come after you so I’m not sure that’s any better…
I have not seen it work, Sam I am, not with green eggs and ham.
It’s been countless times I dove a Widow and almost killed her but she somehow managed to get away and get healed before I could land the finishing blow.

Honestly all I’m seeing is us dive the Widow she grapples away, and in the meantime our supports are dead. Everyone dies by the time we reach her, or they die anyway cause no peels.
