I agree on a lot of points but something in my brain has been spinning about the frog man. The reddit menace
Now personally, I think Lucio is fine balance wise. That isn’t my issue or what I’m looking at. I’m saying that, specifically, the rework has benefitted tanks more than dps and support. And moreover, this means that the frogs space has made dive , the og dive, harder to return.
Like, yes, Lucio was there for speed. But part of why brig can replace him is that he and dva brought some stability to your engagement.
His current aoe means Tracer and genji cannot engage as freely as they want be wise Lucio is no longer a value they can get everywhere.
You can say it’s good or bad. I’m just staring an observation. Og dive had map wide , lower heals, Lucio. and that it’s inherently difficult to get that back if Lucio is so fundamentally changed in his value output functionally. He can’t both support tracer and peel for Zen.
