Boost is honestly making all the things in game worse. Absolutely broken Pharmercy, oneshotting people Ashe, Storm Arrow boosted Hanzo, McCree oneshots Tracer, impressively powerful Bastion. Also taking away glory from Orisa ultimate

In that case… How is damage boost not good, but discord is?
for me its mostly because of OWL, not ladder, damage boost enabled widow too much which meant we spent 90% of every match looking through at widow scope because the directors had some kind of obsession but that is my only issue with damage boost
discord is a huge counter to hog but it doesnt bother me at all
and get rid of mercy’s only utility besides rez? ana and moira already do more healing and damage than her, taking away damage boost from her would be just sad (also most of the stuff your complaining about has already been in the game day 1 like pharmercy, mccree oneshotting etc)

not really at all. Orisa’s ult is able to boost multiple heroes, and since its seperate from her she’s able to do other things like attack, mercy isn’t able to heal or deal damage whiel damage boosting.
Well, it takes up an eintrie healer slot.
If that was filled by a dps instead, you would deal more damage most of the time.
And she can’t heal while boosting.
At the same time?
That would either need a nerf on her gun or healing.

Hmmm I would only agree with this idea if we drop the pistol and give her just a giant rifle and let her heal and shoot at the same time. I can see it now mercy with a cigar in her mouth with tired eyes one day just drop the pistol grabs soldiers rifle and say. im done

Who said it is? Discord is the single most powerful ability in the entire game, and has been since release. There’s a reason Zen keep finding himself in the meta, even when the nature of the comps really suggest he shouldn’t be there, like GOATs.

What are you giving me in return for taking away the damage boost. If you say nothing then that is just another mercy nerf since now just like moira she’ll have 0 utility but unlike moira she can’t heal 80hps
Everytime we say her ult is boring and unimpactful y’all tell us we are using it wrong and we should be pistoling during it. Make her a true dps/healer hybrid
Having both healing AND pistol during her ult would mean one would be nerfed If you wanted to keep the same power as currently.
40 health per target per second healing?
10 damage per bullet instead of 20?
No cuz we are losing Damage boost, we cannot boost 120 damage rockets or 250 damage widow shots anymore. Letting us do the part of dps is our compensation for that

Now your team has 0 healing, and does 202 damage.
Now remove boost, and let mercy use her pistol.
Now your team has 50 hps healing, and does 256 damage.
