I get flamed constantly because I play a lot of Zen, Lucio and LW recently and now on top I’m suspended for abusive chat eventho all I did was responding to people flaming me

Whilst playing Zen and Lucio really shouldn’t be considered a bad thing. My dude you’re playing Life Weaver, it’s a throw pick. You’re going to get flamed.
That doesn’t make them right to flame you. But it’s just the result of going for a throw pick, people will hate you for it.
Also I highly doubt you weren’t breaking the rules in your replies to them.

Lifeweaver is a decent support if played correctly. I’ve been in recent matches where Weaver had close to 12,000 heals. The person knew when to use pull. It’s the people playing him that need to learn how to use him. Yes, his learning curve is high, but it’s like any character that’s relatively new.

Lucio is a throwpick as well because literally nobody will stay inside his circle.
The first time someone flames you, leave chat, leave voice. Play your game. If you win, they wont apologize, if you lose, you won’t see their moaning. Ctrl-Shift-C is your friend.
This game is full of people repeating some bizarre dogma they learned somewhere like a streamer or some other youtube video. Most have no idea what they are talking about. Most have no idea how the game works or the complexity beyond shooting stuff and healing things.

I don’t use racism and edgy stuff I told them to keep their mouth shut and called them idiots and yes it was stupid of me but I’m only human and when I get flamed every freaking game I end up getting angry too.
The best part is that it’s always the worst player in the team flaming but it’s fine if they feed all game and finish horrible stats, must always be my fault

In low elo sure. He is trash everywhere else. He just completely lacks any method to enable offensive plays beyond pocketing with heals, and that’s not nearly enough.

Pull gives up map control in exchange for a save. The best use of pull is to get someone up to high ground. Otherwise you are actively making a compromise.
It is useless at high elo because congrats you are just handing the enemy opportunities.
Ah yes, the GMs with dozens of hours in him are clearly just unable to master his hilariously simple kit. It’s not like he’s just trash.
No it isn’t. He’s a simple character. His most complexly used ability is tree. Petal is fairly simple, grip is hilariously simple.
Stop lying to yourself, Life Weaver is still trash and he isn’t going to become good in high elo unless they gigabuff him to the point that he is utterly broken in low elo. People like Ayanga are trying to claim otherwise because “I play him in masters” but they also play him in console masters.
I reached console masters as a lucio one trick who rarely used speed beyond being a taxi. Console is a really casual platform and their ranks only line up to pc at the top of gm, and the bottom of bronze.
But at least that’s the fault of the team. Not just the character being bad (even if Lucio ain’t nowhere near meta)

Whenever I see a decent LW in my rank it’s usually because they play like they belong a rank higher but are held back by the fact they are playing LW

Your mistake is playing this game with chat on. Never do this. There isnt a worse game in the market to interact with people ingame than this one.
Turn off chat and do your thing. Do not interact your team, it is a recipe for a very stressful experience.

I have a couple accounts in GM1, one in GM2, one in GM3 and the others are low GM / high masters, I’ve dropped from GM5 to masters 3 play LW, Zen and Lucio and it’s not because of a lack of trying, even when I play well I get flamed by people who’ve never even been in diamond before OW2 and are now suddenly boosted to masters or GM where they throw games constantly.
