And we should all feel bad for attacking a monk helping his team on their path to enlightenment.
Discord orb is just a direct reminder of that.
Zen had a nice little scene in the story missions at least.

if they’ve released contrary content recently, im not aware and would actually really appreciate more zenyatta lore and to be pointed in the right direction

The ability to open one’s own third eye and to see their inner-selves, is all the truth one needs.
The extra damage is just an emotional experience.

The ability to self-reflect is a journey each must embrace on their own.
It is one thing to see yourself painted in a light you do not find at all endearing.

That’s some good Poetry about a pretty Cheap Gameplay Mechanic.
Wait until the devs realize they removed Zen’s entire identity.
I think they should hire an actual Monk to help the balance team find balance.
Especially if the Monk refuses a salary.
