You should not be able to choose the role to search for a game.
1 single button to search classified by roles, when entering the game you choose the role as in LoL where you agree on which role to be in. Being able to make the transition mid-game if the tank is doing poorly, to be able to hand over his role to someone else.
Given that ranks and MMR are assigned per role. This wouldn’t work
Queues silver support. In silver lobby. Agrees tank is underperforming and they agree to swap. Great
But that silver support is actually a diamond tank. And that silver tank is a plat support.
Suddenly the game is massively unfair and imbalanced.it then can’t accurately calibrate MMR.
If you really want to bounce around roles… Play open queue

What rank is this? Almost everyone plays 3/2 for me, sometimes its 2/1/2 or something else but people usually swap to the 3/2 meta if it doesn’t work. Its honestly more common to get 4 tanks that doesn’t want to switch of then two hardlocked dps.
Its a pretty chill mode but its very consistent
I’d say 80% of my games in open queue are 2 teams playing 3-2. Playing very close in a ball and if a team caps a point, something it can take to 99% just to win the next one.
It’s fun, but in a wtf is this way.
When they announced the enforcement of 2-2-2 comps back on OW1, i thought
“finally, they will limit the roles within the match, max 2 per role”
Then they came with this aberration called role queue, now people throw on one role, and try hard on the another.
This creates a huge discrepancy inside the matches, since knowing game mechanics is a major part of the game, which carries between roles.
